This hotel is on the main square so if you like your window open at night it may be noisy. The car park is 300metres away after unloading your luggage at the hotel. The walk back is very pretty through a pedestrianised old town but would not be great in a downpour. The room was rather dark I decor and... More

Hello Sir, Thank you for your feedback it was a great pleasur to welcome you in La Tour Cocooning. You may have noticed that you had an air-conditionning in the room if the room was too warm. Hope to see you soon, More

I recently stayed a couple of nights in La Tour whilst on business in the area. My room was in the main building so I can’t comment on the Annex. I was able to park directly in the street outside the hotel for the first night, although on the second night I had to park in the free public car... More

We stayed for one night in this hotel, as part of a group of a few people.
LOCATION
The hotel is located in the charming town of Châtillion sur Chalaronne, and actually consists of one main building, and one annex, situated some 200 meters away. We stayed in the annex, which has a nice big garden, and a lovely swimming... More

We stayed and had dinner at La Tour. The room was nice and the hotel surrounding is very nice. The food was a bit disappointing and the service was average. The breakfast was OK. A bit expensive considering the overall experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. The hotel is situated 10 mins walk from Chatillon town center. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and there are also nice grounds in which to relax. There is a nice swimming pool (I did not use) and the staff are friendly. Perhaps the downside is the 12 euro breakfast which is quite... More

Room 11 is the best room in the entire hotel (main building). I thoroughly enjoyed the very French decor and lifestyle. The food was excellent, as were the accommodations and service. You may be disappointed if you are expecting the typical large, western-style hotels (yuck!), but if you are looking for a quaint French hotel in a lovely French village,... More

Stayed for 5 days with the whole hotel and annex booked out to the wedding party. The rooms were very nice in all styles of French farmhouse country chiq and the building was beautiful as was the annex which is located near a park about 150 m away. However the staff were u able to cope some times and obviously... More

We stayed at this place for one night while holidaying in France and we loved it. The atmosphere is very French and our room was quite small but nicely decorated overlooking the village centre. We enjoyed a very tasty dinner in their restaurant, very recommendable. The French breakfast was enjoyable and served in a pleasant environment. However, on our next... More

Bear in mind that the hotel is on 2 sites, with a walk of a couple of blocks between them. We booked a room with 2 double beds and a balcony but found ourselves in the main building in a small room with so much clutter we had to move furniture and lamps (lots of them!) in order to get... More
