Good location to relax after seeing Pech Merle and walking. The view of the cliffs from the garden is very soothing. easy access to chemin de halage . Pleasant staff. most speak very little English. Veronique speaks well and is an angel. Good restaurant on site. My only complaint was the bathroom in our room (107) was awkward. other rooms... More

Arrived at about 5 pm after travelling 200 miles, pleasantly surprised to find this hidden treasure quietly situated on the Lot river, with its own outdoor swimming pool which we used on arrival. Smallish rooms but clean and comfy, good value, with free wifi. Evening meal in the restaurant, was good with a choice selection of menus and wines, helpful... More

The title says it all. My friend and I were visiting the wonderful cave of Pech Merle and this hotel is the ideal place to stay. The hosts have only been running the business for a few months but they are really making an effort ; they were charm personified. I fully intend to return with my wife at the... More

Restaurant refurbished and rooms being done now. Had dinner there last weekend: perfect ham and melon, great cassoulet (huge portion) and a really good creme brulee. Heaps better than last year before it was sold. And the room rates have been reduced. It's so pretty in Bouzies. The hotel had recently hosted a vintage car weekend (72 guests) and they... More

It is by pure luck that we booked a room in this pleasant hotel on the river Lot. The service was great. The owner/staff attentif yet not overwelming. The hotel has a pool which we did not use (early April visit) perhaps next time. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We had a room for 4. One nice... More

We stayed here as a stopover hotel on our way down to south of France and Spain. Fantastic location with breath taking views . Swimming pool was lovely and refreshing. Rooms small but clean and comfy beds . Great cruise on the Lot from just outside the hotel with it's own mooring . Easy access to motor way . 30... More

We visited in May, rather before the summer rush, but there were plenty of other guests. While our rooms were pleasantly simple, the food was horrible, and there was no alternative. Only the meal of the day at Les Falaises, and no other venues in Bouzies. Staff were clearly trying hard, but overtaxed - perhaps things run better in high... More

My husband and I were quite excited about staying in Les Falaises with our 3 children one of whom was just 3 months old at the time, based on one of the reviews on Tripadvisor which described this establishment as 'A little gem in the lot valley' This gem turned out to be a fake! To begin with I had... More

What a little Gem of a hotel, perfect spot on the Lot river, scenery from our room and hotel spectacular. Didin't realise there were cliffs in the middle of France. Although the Hotel was only 2 stars, the staff and food were excellent, lovely buffet breakfast and the food in the restaurant of an evening was delicious, and not overpriced.... More
