BSV is a walled compound set on a hilltop amongst vineyards and olive groves 10 minutes outside of Menfi. It has the feel of a converted old monastery in many ways, and offers a beautiful and relaxing setting that immediately puts one at ease. It's a great place to get away from it all, and with only 13 rooms, will... More

After a very full day of driving and touring Segesta, Selinunte and Erice we arrived much later in the evening than we had planned at the Hotel (we were to be the last guests of the season at this beautiful place before it closed for the winter, so we were the only couple staying there that night). The owner, Marissa,... More

It's a truly special place! Located on top of the hill with outstanding views, surrounded by olive gardens and vineyards. Very quiet and peaceful. It's a historical property with a chapel inside which it makes it even more interesting. The rooms are very spacious with great views. They have a very nice pool area. The breakfast was served in a... More

We spent one week in Sicily driving round the island and this two day stay was by far the best bit. The days were spent at the beach located about 10-15 mins by car then we would come back to this lovely vineyard tucked away up in the hills, chill by the pool, shower then drink fabulous Wine and eat... The baglio is a lovely oasis which is almost impossible to find but well worth the twists and turns. We found it by GPS sat nav and still doubted the directions being given to us. The pool is beautiful, it is cold in the morning but warms up in the afternoon. The wine is the finest in Italy, so smooth... More

Ignore the negative reviews. This is more than a hotel. It is a working vineyard that produces its own wine, has a chapel for weddings on site, impeccable service provided by the owner Marissa and her staff, and is placed on the top of a hill far away enough from civilisation but close enough to get to the beach and... I had read all the reviews and was looking forward to staying at the Baglio the rooms were very clean and very big. However the pool was cold and the loungers didn't have any beds so very uncomfortable. In the day we visited Player D'Mar beach which was excellent but back at the Baglio the only choice for dinner was... More

Our stay at Baglio San Vincenzo was incredible. From the tour of the caves and wine tasting to the most incredible food we ate on our travels through Sicily. Marisa made us feel welcome and at home, Franco's impeccable service and the views of the valley as the sun went down made it an unforgettable trip. If only we could... More

We arrived at the Baglio San Vincenzo in the late afternoon (we had a reservation) and were shown to a suite with a lovely view over the hillsides. The rooms were very much in the Sicilian country style of plain, but tasteful, decorating. We were relaxing in the sitting room about a half and hour after our arrival, when there... More

We spent one night at Baglio San Vincenzo during our trip around Sicily and we loved it! This place is truly a hidden paradise in the middle of olive groves and vineyards (with looots of flowers and butterflies). The owner, a very intelligent and charming lady, showed us the winery and gave us some advice for the rest of our... More
