I stayed here for two nights in mid-October. It's a good base for exploring this appealing part of western Sicily, although the hotel is so pleasant you may not want to leave. The design details are great; they clearly spared no expense on those and all the other stuff related to promoting the Planeta brand. The staff is pleasant and... More

We recently spent three nights at this wonderful, small hotel on a wine estate. Our room looked across the vineyard to the sea. Apart from the digger taking out old vines during the day, there was no other noise at all. The place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Their way of giving everyone an aperatif together before dinner and... More

Unassuming hotel, very friendly, hotel room was more than I expected. Comfortable with everything you needed. Dinner was a communal affair which certainly had people talking to one another, a great idea. Food was also very good as was the chosen accompanying wine, however you do have a choice of their selected wine or choose your own. Food is a... More

Great location with a view across the vines down to the distant sea. The area is very rural, relaxing and peaceful and more enjoyable than hectic Palermo or Taormina. As it is very quiet you probably only need 3 nights or so to explore the area, which includes coast and ruins. The pool area is particularly good with a great... More

Lovely relaxing environment, miles from anywhere which adds to it's appeal. Rooms weren't as luxurious as we had expected having stayed on other wineries, but they were comfortable. The shower was great , infact it was a double rain shower with instant hot water and the bed was comfortable. Staff were on the whole very helpful. Few niggles - the... More

What a lovely place this is! The rooms are very comfortable, with attention to every detail. The views are wonderful, and the whole place smells of the herbs which are planted all around . The bathrooms are luxurious, and the dining room is super on a warm evening, either inside or out. The food is as good as almost everywhere... More

This is a lovely unusual boutique hotel. We had a enormous room with fabulous bathroom (with lovely complimentary goodies). Our room had a terrace where you could sit outside - however not all do so if this is important to you I would check on booking. The only problem with the room was the incredibly noisy air conditioning. The pool... More

Second visit to this great hotel and it continues to excel. Fixed fish or meat evening menu excellent every night. Very talented kitchen team. 1 hour easy drive from Palermo. A great place to unwind and chill out. Fab pool. Without doubt one of Sicily's best hotels. All the staff are passionate about their great wines.......and rightly so...Cometa rules!!

This is a very special place and I will sure be back. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated. The bathroom is very nice with a huge shower and the soap smells lovely. The views from the bedroom terrace were lovely. The pool is really nice, it is not very big but I found it suitable for the size of... More

We spent 4 nights here on our honeymoon and had the most fantastic time. The infinity pool is magical, rooms clean, chic and spacious, and the staff are great. The restaurant is brilliant - the food you're served on the evening tasting menu is magnificent. We'd also recommend a cookery course with the charismatic and wonderful chef, Angelo. It's great...
