We stayed here in early April low season and everywhere was very quiet even on a Friday night. We had asked for a sea view room and would strongly recommend that to anyone booking here - the view from our little balcony was just amazing. Even with a stong wind blowing we were sheltered enough to enjoy an aperitif sitting... More

You get good value, good space and nice breakfast. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Its close to beautiful places, and very good alternative if you come with a car. Much better value than you get in colliure.

Luckily for me, my stay coincided with the Banyuls "Fete des Vendanges" weekend (2nd in October). The town was buzzing with people sampling the "free" wines (just had to buy a glass!) from the local vineyards and different bands playing everywhere - very friendly and a great atmosphere. Even better, I was able to have the special "Diner des Vignerons"... More

This hotel is situated in the hills above Banyuls, providing a beautiful view on the town and its beach and harbour. When we checked-in, we found the staff very friendly and we were upgraded without asking to the sea view side of the hotel ! Very nice :) It is indeed only 10 minutes to walk down to town, but... Food very good, a few small errors, like 4 bones left in the fish, small bit of gristle on the steak. The food was delicious, well presented and well cooked. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Well worth a stay. Our sole real problem was the prices charged for alcoholic drinks, eg whisky - single malt - €13... More

We were booked into this hotel by the company we were walking with. Generally when we arrive at a hotel the bags are already in the room, despite it being mid afternoon when we arrived our bags were still languishing in reception. The receptionist spoke good English but were left to deal with our bags. When the towels feel like... More

After a long walk along the coast from Collioure the many, many steps up to the hotel were almost the last straw but we all agreed was well worth the effort when we arrived. A really charming (if a little end of season tat) hotel with helpful staff and a quite lovely restaurant with exceptional food particularly the "Terriore" menu,... More

Third time of staying here. Ideal spot above the town. Clean rooms, with good views of coast or town. Excellent breakfasts. Have not eaten due to visiting family in the town. Very helpful staff. Lots of space in the dining room and lounge, now with wi-fi, hence able to write this review.

Had a great 3 days here and whilst the Hotel is tired, that is reflected in the price. Really comfy Bed, good linens, nice buffet breakfast and super helpful staff gives this place a real charm. My daughter loved the cheese from the restaurant cheeseboard and the only downside to the hotel is walking back up the 100 plus steps... More

Room, view, food, pools, service...all perfect. Staying here as part of an inn-to-inn walking vacation. This was the perfect place to end our trip. A tiny bit outside of town if you don't have a car. The dining room over looking the sea was lovely. Dining service impeccable. The desk staff very helpful in getting us cab reservation and train... More
