I loved this place so much. Since our arrival, we were greeted by Joel, the owner who is very friendly and attentive, such as the whole staff. The place is very nice, the rooms are clean and the ecological awareness is evident in everything they do.. The view from the lobby-restaurant is amazing and you can perfectly pair it with... More

Great food and very relaxing. Staff very helpful. Fun private hiking trail. Close to rio Celeste. Make sure you include the 5 star food in my our package. We never do an all inclusive but not unless is the food great there are not very many places to eat near by.

You have to take this review for what it is...you see, my husband and I were not here to go on hikes (although the hotel has a beautiful grounds and a long nature walk that we managed very well indeed, even at our age). You see, we were not there to do anything! This hotel with it's open air lobby,... More

I have never been awakened by the orchestra of a jungle in my life. Unbelievable. Stayed here after hiking to a majical waterfall. The food was amazing and accomodations were unlike anything I have experienced. My time here was life changing. I woke up at 4:30 to sounds of distant elephants, birds, and other wildlife which all together sounded like... More

My family and I stayed at the Celeste Mountain Lodge for two nights as part of our Air Canada Discover Costa Rica Eco Tour. As it was picked for us and included in the tour package, I can't comment on the price to value ratio, but the lodge itself is incredible! My favourite part by far was the food! Three... More

My husband, 12 year old son and I stayed at the Celeste Mountain Lodge for 4 days. It was the high point of our trip, and really, our year. Joel (the Innkeeper) is a thoughtful host who runs a beautiful retreat. The gourmet food was outstanding, and he even worked to create unique meals to suit our vegetarian family members.... More

We actually stumbled upon this place because we were traveling without any set agenda and the place we wanted to stay was full. This was at first a little out of our price range, but after we learned that all the meals were included it turned out to be very reasonable. Once we stepped foot inside we were instantly impressed.... More

We spent one perfect weekend at the Celeste Mountain Lodge. We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful lodge very much! Everyone was charming and helpful, especially the lodge manager! We loved the open, modern architecture of the lodge and its rooms. The view over the close wooded mountains is outstanding! We experienced a guided walk to the breathtaking Rio Celeste... More
