Great niche hotel in the middle of mountain. Location: It's a few minutes drive to Tonorio National Park. If you plan to pay a visit to the park, this would be an ideal place to spend the night before. Facility: About 20 rooms on two floors in one building. The room is rather simple but clean. Sound isolation is not... More

We stayed 4 nights in late March of 2015 because my wife went looking for places "off the beaten track." The hotel is a gem in the jungle. We had the end room on the bottom floor, which meant we had two full walls of louvred windows. It was like sleeping outside without any bugs. We both loved it! Everything... More

This is a family run, incredibly unique hotel where you will be greeted by the owners and see them throughout your stay to ensure you have the perfect vacation. You will love this place if you value: quiet walks through a private rainforest, local freshly-prepared food (often with a French influence for very unique "fusion" meals), friendly multi-national guests with... Perfect location for visiting Tenorio. The owner is very friendly and the staff is always helpful. By the the best food of all hotels / lodges we have ever visited in Costa Rica! My wife got a special mixed hot vitamin fitness drink when she had a cold. :-)

The other reviews are nearly unanimous with either four or five star reviews and I have to echo their views. This is a location to visit in itself rather than simply a hotel to sleep at night. The rooms are minimalist, but are designed to emphasize the hotel's connection to nature. There's no turn-down service or chocolates on your pillows... More

We came here to see the rain forest and we were not disappointed. We were warmly welcome by Joel and Eric, who run the lodge. They also have a great staff that is friendly and well spoken. The food was really, really good. Much better than I was expecting from an ecolodge. CML has an amazing setting, with great views... More

We recently stayed in the Celeste Mountain lodge. The setting is really amazing, high up on a hill in the rainforest. Joel the host really looks after you with a personal flair. The food is very fresh, healthy and varied. We really loved the set menu format. The packed lunches they provided for our hike were delicious. Great place, I... More

This lodge was quite lovely. We really enjoyed that it was an all-inclusive. The meals were quite tasty and the presentation was very pleasing. Joel was always helpful and ready to make sure our stay was comfortable. The lodge was conveniently located to Tenorio National Park, but the downside was that it rained the whole time we were there so... More

This unique hotel is located near an extraordinary area of Costa Rica with a beautiful blue waterfall and wildlife Including varieties of birds. Due to its isolated location, it is good that they provide meals. The meals are excellent and very creative and delicious. We enjoyed the communal dining experience as it allowed us to meet some interesting guests. Be... More

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay for four nights. Joel, Eric and the rest of the staff all made us very welcome and were the perfect hosts - always attentive and helpful, but never intrusive. Our room was the end room on the upper floor, so it had a great view in two directions over the garden... More
