This place is a pure gem. It's owner are very kind and helpful. They realized this hotel with bungalows with local products and workers and the result is beautiful. Rooms are big and the have a fantastic window panorama on the volcano. The have also Jacuzzis made in big barrels and that's very pleasant when you have walk the all... More

We loved everything about our stay at tenorio lodge. Friendly hosts who respect the environment and want everyone to be able enjoy the multitude of birds and animals around. The food was excellent, fresh and locally sourced. We enjoyed just hanging out by the bungalow watching birds and the sunset over the volcano. It's peaceful, beautiful and a great antidote... More

Stayed here as my first night in Costa Rica. The hotel is located off of steep driveway in a beautiful yet un-touristy part of the country, only about a 30-minute drive to Tenorio national park. The bungalows are spotlessly clean and beautifully built. The bathroom was gorgeous and it was a treat to shower right next to the lush vegetation... More

The cabins here are private, beautiful and well designed. The floor to ceiling windows give a great view to wake up to and watch the sunrise while laying in bed. There is great ventilation and ceiling fan which meant we didn't even think about air conditioning. Breakfast was great to watch the animals from the restaurant. Only 30 mins drive... More

We had two nights here in February. The casitas are the best we stayed in while in Costa Rica, with great views of the volcanoes if there is no mist or rain in the way! Run by a very nice French couple, with mostly French-speaking guests (not a problem). Small fixed menu but the food is good. Not too much... More

On arrival we were welcomed by the owners and Kimberly with a nice drink. The bungalows have marvellous views of the gardens and while lying in your bed you can just watch the wildlife go by. The bathroom is very modern and nice with a big shower, only downside is the window in the shower. It is probably made for... More

Wonderful place, the huge window in the bungalow and the view alone are worth sleeping here. The whole place is very quiet and clean, owners are nice and helpful. Jacuzzi was a nice plus in the evening. I suggest to sleep here if you travel in the area.

The lodges are beautiful with an enormous window overlooking the gardens and valley beyond. Lounging in bed you can watch the birds and wildlife go by. You will probably stay because of the volcano and the scenery is wonderful. There are long walks from the hotel and plenty of birds all around. There is an onsite guide to help you... More

Stayed in early July with family of 4. The modern style cottages are quite impressive, particularly the floor to ceiling windows across the whole wall of the main room. Views are into a valley leading up to the mountain. Lots of birds all day long. very clean, bathroom is large and modern and shower was great. Breakfasts were good, but... More
