Super friendly staff and the rooms were very clean. My favorite part was that you could see the stars out at night from the bed. Highly recommend getting dinner across the street at tilapias Angel. You need 4 wheel drive to get up the hill to the hotel. Also it was a bit difficult getting big suitcases down to the... More

I came here on my honeymoon. The grounds were stunning. The view unbeatable. Our bungalow was fantastic. Christine was a lovely host. I have read through some of the other reviews which had negative things to say. Yes, we did share our bungalow with some creatures. There were gecko around, and there were a few insects which found their way... More

We loved this lodge. The rooms are beautiful--very spacious with gorgeous views and bathrooms. The whole place is very peaceful and low-key. The owner was so kind and helpful in guiding us towards a number of great places and activities. You need to have your own car! This is a quiet area, and you can't plan on getting around by... More

Friendly welcome by Frank who gave lots of suggestions for activities adn restaurants. Very nice, large room with huge windows overlooking the garden. Decent breakfast, but slightly expensive choice for the area. NB Bathroom is semi-open so expect to share the shower with the lizards!

We stayed at Tenorio Lodge for the last few days of 2015. I went with my parents (I am 29). We came expecting insects as it is the rainforest, but not an infestation (see photo). Franck was very nice and accommodating in arranging our tours and the tour company was great as well so I have no complaints there and... More

We stayed 3 days at Tenorio Lodge and loved every minute. The Bungalows are very spacy and very nice decorated, nothing was mising here and the best was the volcano view out of the bed. The location is remote, exactly what we've been looking for. We took hikes on the huge property which has as well a good piece of... More

We stayed here 2-nights on our way between Arenal volcano area and the pacific coast. It is a small hotel consisting of bungalows with floor-to-ceiling windows with magnificent views to the volcano, shower with private garden view, and well-trimmed gardens to observe birds. The hotel is run by a French couple, Christine and Marc, who pay attention to every possible... More

A lovely privately run small and friendly complex, the host were friendly and helpful and the food was great, we were staying on a Half Board Basis which i would highly recommend. The bungalow/accommodation was excellent, fantastic view from the bedroom/lounge, lovely big bathroom, clean and a high standard. I would strongly recommend using this as a base for a... More
