Maybe the best hospitality ever. Paradise for nature friends. Nice Cabins, perfect setting for birdwatching during breakfast. Seen a lot of several birds including Tucans, sloths and monkeys. I would recommend it everyone.

We spent 2 nights here January 27 and 28 2016. Our Casita was new (Volcan) and very comfortable. Beautiful views, friendly service from Pip and Donald were a pleasure to deal with and made every effort to make your stay a great experience. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay with Pip and her family! Instantly we felt welcomed and right at home. The trip to the casitas was not an easy one but that's exactly what we were looking for a real Costa Rican feel and we got it! The grounds are lovely we enjoyed walking around them looking at wildlife and plants. The room... More

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, Donald and Pip (as well as the rest of the staff) were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way on numerous occasions during our brief two night stay to help us spot wildlife on the property, tell us a little about themselves and the history of the... More

We are biased because Pip and Donald are our friends! The other reviews of this little Costa Rican gem are all absolutely, positively correct. My only advice is book an extra night, maybe 2 and see if the new Casitas are available! Its been everything I was looking for in a Costa Rican experience. We will be back!

The owners Pip and Donald are very hospitable and personable. We stayed in three of their five rooms and all were nicely appointed and maintained, clean and cozy with sweet personal touches; the more recently built rooms are gorgeous. Our focus was birding and the viewing from the open air breakfast room was remarkable, with toucans and dozens of other... More

My daughter and I didn't stay overnight because we were visiting this sustainable development B&B as part of a private tour. It was great to meet a Pip, a fellow Australian, who manages the place with her Costa Rican husband. We can understand why Pip has chosen this lifestyle and she's such a bubbling personality you feel ever so welcome... More

We had an amazing three nights here with our two kids (7 & 9). Pip, Donald and Ellie and Kira are fantastic hosts - so friendly. We stayed in the Mariposa room (room 2) - great large size, good sized bathroom with a double bed and a set of bunks. Also had a kitchen area which we didn't use but... More

Had a pleasure to stay a night at Casitas Tenorio with my family. I wish we could stay longer.... The hotel is very nice and cozy, owned by a very friendly and hospitable family. We lived in a very nice bungalow - very cozy and nicely furnished inside. Its outer walls were beautifully painted - it looked like the bungalow... More
