Had a great experience in this very small B&B! Very friendly owners/staff, excellent meals (others than breakfast available on order), great garden around the houses. We enjoeyed being away from town (if you travel without car it's a bit too far)

About a 7 minute drive up a bumpy road from Bijagua Casitas Tenorio is a charming B&B build on a sustainable organic farm and campground. The rooms are clean and modern, and the whole place has a real rustic charm. The staff are friendly and helpful and the delicious breakfast is served in a charming open air dining area using... More

We stayed at the Casitas Tenorio in February and it was a wonderful experience. Breakfast is delicious and served aside a feeder that brings in toucans, tanagers, aricaris, and more - what great entertainment. It is a family establishment and everyone is lovely. Doug is an awesome birder and naturalists and you should definitely take advantage of his knowledge and... More

Both the dinner and breakfasts were excellent using the farm,s own produce. The setting is gorgeous with wildlife on the doorstep -literally. Have travelled extensively and this... More

Stayed at Casita #2 at Casitas Tenorio February 25th, 26th & 27th, 2014 Casitas Tenorio is located near the town of Bijagua. The road between the town & Casitas Tenorio is very rough & the drive takes about 10 minutes. Keep in mind that MOST of the gravel roads in Costa Rica are this rough. See the photos of a... More

We really enjoyed our four nights here. We were greeted by Anthony, who made us feel very welcome. We stayed in Casita 1, which was lovely with a large, bright bathroom and lots of hot water (unusual in Costa Rica) however, I had requested Casita 2 when reserving, and when I explained that was because we like to have a... We stayed at Casitas Tenorio -- in Casita 1 -- for two nights at the end of January 2014 and loved it. Donald was most helpful and informative, showing us around the grounds and pointing out the sloths, banana trees, pineapples, etc. The casita was well-appointed and comfortable. The breakfast, hosted by Donald's brother Anthony and their mom, was fantastic,... More
