We choose this place because it was reasonable close to the Liberia airport (1 hour 20 minutes) and it was somewhat on the way to MonteVerde. And of the pictures looked adorable. It didn't disappoint. The grounds and the hosts are lovely and our room was spacious and comfortable. In the morning they put out food for the humming birds... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in Toucan Lodge. We were a little unlucky with the weather but it didn't spoil our stay. Daniel and Dominique have set up a fantastic B&B. She is a fantastic baker and we sampled a different delight each morning at breakfast, where you can watch hummingbirds feeding. They really went out of their way... More

This was our second stay at this B&B. Just as before, Daniel and Dominique were incredibly friendly, helpful, and informative. We stayed in a beautiful , clean, and well decorated cabin in the middle of a well manicured rainforest property. This was a great and relaxing place to stay while going to the Rio Celeste Hike on the way to La... More

My sister and I traveled to Costa Rica for the first time. And sueno Celeste was our first stop. The rooms were delightful!! We had a room with two queen beds. And a private bathroom with a great shower. A different breakfast every morning! And some of the sweetest hosts I've ever experienced!! They were fluent in English, Spanish, and French!... More

Our family was traveling through Costa Rica throughout the month of July and stumbled upon this lovely B&B when we traveled to Bijuaga to see the Rio Celeste. Daniel and Dominique, the owners of the hotel were fantastic. They greeted us warmly and explained the ins and outs of things to see and do during our time there. Daniel was... More

The little houses were really nicely decorated and very clean. We sense the European fine taste mixed with local decoration. The owners were helpful and gave good advice. The breakfast was divine and homemade with love :) But no arroz pinto for the Costarician (wasn't a problem for us though!). We less enjoyed the flying ants in the casona, and... More

After our trip to Rio Celeste and driving through all these bumpy and stone gravel roads we arrived at Sueño Celeste. The little cabanas were absolutely beautiful with really nice decorations and with everything you might need. Gorgeous taste! The owner introduce us to the restaurants of the area and made a few suggestions and recommendations. He gave us a... More

We have very nice memories about staying at this B&B. It’s decorated with local Costa Rican motives, but has a European flare- little charming details, but most importantly- it’s European CLEAN, has regular toilets where you can flash toilet paper instead of depositing it in a basket, and wonderful showers. The breakfast is great and takes place at the veranda... More

My husband and I stayed only one night, but we will be back with friends. We arrived in the late morning and our host Daniel sat down with us to orient us to the area and explain what our best options were for visiting Tenorio Volcano. He was very knowledgeable and sent us on our way with maps and directions.... More
