This 700 year old B&B was completely refurbished with style and good taste by the owners Lya & Peter who are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Great breakfast and very clean rooms. The area offers many attractions in winter and summer with fantastic skiing opportunities at Super Besse. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this charming guest house in January 2013, our room was large with very tastefull decor and our bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean, our bed was very comfortable and our breakfast was plentifull and of a good standard. Overall it was a very nice stay, The slight negative was church bells waking us up at 6 o'clock... More

This place is simply great. The building is over 700 years old, and the owners (Lya and Peter) have renovated it to a high standard, mixing some contemporary furniture with the rustic charm of the old building. The bedroom we had was ‘Helena’, very, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed. There was a third single bed in this room... More

Excellent B&B. Great location, spacious and spotlessly clean room with nice attention to detail. First rate breakfast including different types of bread, cheeses, ham, jams and home made cakes. Helpful and very friendly owner. Good base for exploring the region. Would thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed in the self-catering apartment for five nights whilst exploring the Auvergne region, and I can honestly say it's one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The facilities were excellent; the small but fully equipped kitchen meant that we could cook whatever we wanted, and we really appreciated the huge comfy bed after long hot days exploring villages,... We visited for 2 nights to check out the ski resorts of Super Besse and Mont Dore. Lya and Peter have done an incredible job renovating this old inn. Every room is spacious and simply furnished in a fresh modern style. Our room was huge, overlooking the courtyard. The ensuite shower room was a good size with wonderful fresh smelling... More

We were looking to explore the ski resorts away from the Alps for a few days after Christmas and Aaisa ticked all the boxes. Aaisa is tucked away just behind the PMU and within a stumble of all the little shops and lovely restaurants. Being Christmas time Lya had gone to town with the decorations and the whole feeling was... More

We stayed at Aaisa mid August for 3 nights. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a warm welcome on the garden terrace. Rooms are very spacious, beds are of very good quality and bathrooms very clean and well equiped. Although Lya & Peter had an unexpected return to Holland, they did manage to have everything taken care off to make our stay... More

Lya and Peter left their native Holland a few years ago, moved to Besse, and completely renovated this charming, 700-year old inn. It's clean, beautiful, and right in the heart of this picturesque hamlet in the mountains of the Massif Central region of France. On top of that, the couple couldn't be kinder or more welcoming... Lya made sure I... More

Run by a friendly Dutch couple, we were warmly welcomed and given a beautifully decorated room that was large and had a modern newly remodeled bathroom. The breakfast that was included was over the top. A table was prepared for us with every breakfast food imaginable. We enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend it. The only thing that... More
