Stayed at the Auberge on Sunday evening. We had a pleasant double room at the rear which was quiet and very clean. The highlight of our stay was the food and the service-both a credit to the owners who cook and serve the most fantastic regional dishes made with the freshest of local ingredients. We found this auberge by chance - and what a luck! The room was nice, the staff was friendly and the dinner was excellent. It is worth making a detour to stay the night or eat at the auberge de la Moréno.

My wife and I arrived at the hotel at 1620h after riding motorcycles 350 miles from Spain to be greeted with a sign on the door saying call this number if you arrive before 1800h. Not good for a hotel to be shut when guests arrive, we called the number and was told that it would be an hour before... More
