Michael and Ali are the owners and hosts at Home Farm, and they could not be more gracious and charming. My wife and I stayed at Home Farm from June 5 to 12, 2015 for a wonderful week of walks and meals. The walks Michel took us on took us through wonderful scenery. Returning to Home Farm in the afternoon... More

We have just returned from an excellent stay at Home Farm in Welcombe Devon. Alison and Michael who run the farmhouse are excellent hosts. We had 3 days of walks guided by Michael exploring coastal paths, forests, villages and always finding an interesting pub to quench thirsts at lunchtime. The food was excellent, Ali is a real foodie and shared... More

Just back from seven magical days at Home Farm - best holiday ever. The Farm itself is a magical place - warm, comfortable, charming. The walks were amazing - you get to challenge yourself while walking through a wonderland of forests, hilltops, historic villages and always the amazing views of the sea. With Michael and Ella (the intrepid dog) guiding... More

Our first visit to Home Farm and from the minute we arrived we were made welcome by Michael and Alison. We met some lovely people and the walking was so enjoyable. We covered some beautiful landscapes, cliff top views and lovely woodland pathways that could only be explored on foot which made this holiday varied and very interesting. We would... More

Our time at Home Farm was most fulfilling. It ticked every box in the list of things we try to find on a holiday and left us wondering why we had not done it before now. We felt welcomed into the home and were introduced to some wonderful people to share our holiday with. The peace and quiet of the... More

My first stay with Michael and Alison. Together, they run a comfortable and impeccably smooth ship. I was so moved by their warmth, by Alison's knack for gourmet cooking, and by Michael's sense of the landscape and pace and planning to accommodate a group of diverse walkers. I enjoyed staying in what they term a "superior room" which happened to... More

I spent a really enjoyable 4 days at Home Farm, having read the reviews in advance I felt confident that I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't!. Travelled solo but met up with a lovely bunch of ladies and we had a great laugh, thanks girls! The hospitality was amazing, I was fortunate to be given an upgrade on arrival... More

I've returned to Home Farm three times, and I warn Alison, Michael and Ellie that I am not done yet. You too will find them in an unspoilt part of North Devon where walking the unfurling landscape reveals so much history, so much beauty. This is good remedy for the stresses of life. There's something containing about the regular days;... More

It was our very first walking holiday, but exceeded all expectations. The house immaculately clean, top quality food, locally sourced and cooked by our hosts. Breathtaking views during every walk, carefully planed and guided by Mike and tea and amazing cakes, baked by Ali , after long day... More

Just home from wonderful 4 day holiday in Home Farm with Allison and Michael and Ellie the Dog. Michael, always sensitive to our needs, led us through open fields, coastal paths, shady glades and winding paths, slowing down regularly for the 'view' always stopping in a scenic spot for lunch and ending with a jeep ride back to the house...
