Location is great and the beautiful golden sandy beach is infront of the hotel with a chiringuito (beach restaurant) at your convenience. The beach is one of the many stunning ones along the Atlantic ocean in Spain. The coastline of Costa de la Luz is renowned for surfers etc because of the wind coming from the Atlantic, so be warned... More

The hotel is little bit old. Rooms are old, however they are clean and comfortable. Pool is very good and the beach is just walking distance form the hotel. Breakfast is very good. Parking is very expensive, but - with luck - you can leave your car n the neighborhood. Wifi everywhere, but extremely slow.

Spent 5 nights with my couple as part of a stay in lovely Zahara de los Atunes in mid-August at the very highest occupancy season. Must start by saying that our opinion is somewhat biased because our booking was made through a loyalty program and therefore spent points rather than actual money for the the room booking. Had we paid... More

3rd visit to melia Atlanterra and sadly its on the way down, needs to relaunch itself both in accomodation, bar menu, hotel bar. Parking charge of 14 euro per day still brings a smile to my face and i was automatically charged on my bill even though i parked outside on the road. Breakfast very good and staff are very professional. Love the... More

This Hotel is in serious need of a total 'makeover', both structural and attitudinal. Its design is dated, cold and charmless. The bedrooms utterly featureless. Its attitude towards guests is to seek to charge you extra at any conceivable opportunity. - you pay extra to park your car at their hotel - you pay extra to lie on a sun... More

Good hotel in a very good location. Family rooms are big enough to accommodate comfortably our family of 5 (3 kids). The restaurant is very good in variety and quality, moreover they provide anything needed for a gluten free diet as one of our kids have celiac disease. Open and nice personnel. We have come to this hotel several times.... More

This hotel needs a total makeover. We paid 190 to have a premium sea view and we had a bit of a sea view plus a view of a concrete roof, the bedroom terrace was small and had no flowers just dead weeds. Wi fi was suppose to be gratis in the rooms but hardly ever worked and caused so... More

Car parking expensive but a must due to congestion on the road. Room excellent and staff very good but we stayed for 3 nights towards the end of the season and to be honest it felt like it on evening three when the choice of menu was a bit limited. The pool though was really good and the breakfast excellent... More

I stayed here for two nights in a Junior Suite and was more than pleased with the room, the proximity to the sea and the lovely swimming pool. There were however some disappointing features and I list them as under :- 1. I was charged for using the car park 11.5 euros per night and was not forewarned of this.... More

We stayed here for a short 3 night break with the family; the reception desk was the only dissapointment, in that they were not quite efficient, nor did they even have any information on the weather, the quality of the seawater, the tides ( they referred me to a man cleaning the floors who luckily was more informed...). The rooms were... More
