Staff are friendly , restaurant reasonable, rooms rather old fashioned. Main issue is the disco on the same property-which carries on until 4 am. This is not compatible with sleep. My worst hotel experience ever in Switzerland

Nice hotel in a small mountain village Filisur just an hour away from posh St. Moritz (and the prices are considerably lower!). Rooms are quite spacy, even the single room. Hotel's restaurant is very nice, for lunch/ dinner as well. The breakfast is not a buffet, but it's quickly served and has good choice. You could also take a walk... More

The Hotel Rätia is a simple, family-run hotel. It's only a few minutes' walk from the railway station and directly across the road from the bus stop and Co-op supermarket. Hotel is a starting point for enjoying trains in both directions of the Rhaetian Railway. A half hour walk will take you to a viewing spot to see the famous Landwasser rail viaduct . Check the schedule to be there for train crossings in both directions. A short distance away by car, I guess via train too, is the Albula... More

Nice clean rooms with ensuite, 'old style' TV (no SAT) and no lift. Friendly staff, not all speak English. Breakfast included cheese, meat, cereal and yoghurt - more than adequate. Evening meals also very nice - nothing flash, but good sized portions.
