I stayed in this hotel 8 years ago and it was already run down. I came back recently and sad to see there was no improvement at all. But the view of Mount Kinabalu from the room is magnificient. The hotel has so much potential and in dire need of refurbishment.

I don't even know where to start! The most disgusting place we have cone across during our three trips to Sabah. I had looked at the pictures before choosing this hotel but they only show the chalets which are separate and look quite nice. When we arrived, I was shocked to see the hotel which looks uninviting even from the... More

DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel has one little shop near to reception, which we needed to buy a board game, as there was NOTHING to do in this hotel The bar reluctantly opened at 9pm (but then didn't have what we wanted). The reception staff were unhelpful. The spa was a just a dirty massage room with giggly girls... More

Stayed at the resort for a night only... My husband and I stayed at chalet no 13 which was far far away from the main building... The chalet was quite small and has a moldy smell.. The toilet really needs cleaning as it has very strong ammonia (or urine) like smell.. I had to clean the toilet as I cannot... More

We stayed in chalet no 11 & 12 for 2 nights. The chalet was great but housekeeping staff need to put more attention at the bathroom (moldy smell). Chalet was far away from the hotel building and very quiet. No in-house phone line and wifi available in the room. The chalet face the great Mt Kinabalu which give us the... More

Very strong foul smell at the lift lobby and even stretch until inside room. Door to room is so hard to open/close and even opening bank vault is much more easier. my room at 1st floor was so noisy during rain as outside the window there's zink top awning.

To call this a Resort is a misnomer. Everything here is old, decrepit. The rooms' doors do not close properly, so you get to hear slamming doors from the corridors. I had to put a chair to block the door, as the lock is loose. Come here only if you must, and you should have your own vehicle or pre... More

We stayed in one of the chalets/huts at this hotel for 4 nights during our 2 1/2 week honeymoon in Malaysia. Compared to many of the lovely hospitable hotels we stayed in, in Malaysia this was poor and overpriced for the service. The hotel is quite dated and shabby and staff were not particularly hospitable compared to our experience in... More

The rooms clearly needs attention. It was tired and old, the smell of mould is rather prominent. Breakfast was disappointing. Was expecting for something better but ended up with fried noodles and rice. It's a little heavy to be enjoyed in the morning. The location is nice! It was beyond words and imagination to be greeted in the morning with... More

This hotel was booked for us as we were climbing mount Kinabalu the next day. The hotel is tired looking- the carpets are dirty, a large part of the enamel bath had come off, the shower head attachment meant the water didn't flow out properly, hot water was only available 7-9 am & pm, the food was awful- cold and...
