We stayed one night at this hostel. We didn't realise that we would be in a long cabin with just a separate bedroom and shared toilet/shower facilities in another building. It was very basic, but apparently there were separate cabins available. There was no air-conditioning in a very small room with enough room for three single beds and mosquito nets.... More

Just a paradise for us. Natural resort drowned in the middle of the tea plantation. Friendly and helpful staff, nice walks around, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Longhouse rooms are simple but stylish-bamboo everywhere. Access road is stoney but nothing extreme if driven with care. Don't miss the sunset. In the end of may the place was almost guest-free. Hard to... More

We stayed here for a night as part of a tour across Sabah and stayed in one of the cottages. It was basic but comfortable beds, aircon and warm showers. It's lovely and peaceful with great scenery and, after a stunning sunset we had a very good dinner at the restaurant though it was a bit odd as we were... More

I stayed here as part of a group tour and had a great time. We arrived in the evening just in time for the gorgeous sunset and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The next morning we got up for the sunrise walk, which was also incredibly gorgeous, as we got to see some of Mount Kinabalu before the... More

This is an organic tea plantation which offers accommodation in one of sixteen cottages or, for larger groups, communal accommodation in a longhouse style. It is quite remote so you are probably going to want to stay as you travel to somewhere else on your tour. We arrived late afternoon in time to check in and clean up before dinner.... More

A long rough ride to this place, we stayed in a cute cottage, but only had cold water for wash/shower (brrr), everything was basic but clean, restaurant nothing to rave about (not worth going to just for a meal), staff were ok but could be better, interesting visit thru the tea factory. Considering what is here it is not worth... More

For our tour group spending a night at the Sabah tea plantation in their long-house was an interesting experience. One night was enough though! The drive up the dirt road to get there was an eye-opener. However the grounds of the plantation are lovely, as are the views. Also our group enjoyed an early morning bird-walk before both breakfast and... More

We were driving from Sepilok to Kota Kinabalu and chose to stop here for lunch. It's a short detour up a bumpy track from the main road. Amazing setting, restaurant with beautiful views, but when we sat down we were ignored. I went up to a group of about six people chilling at a neighbouring table to ask them and... More

We arrive after such a long drive from Ranau. When we reached, The cafe was open the menu had a small selection. That was about it. Nothing much to do beside the factory tour. For a tea estate there wasn't even a tea sampling or a museum. We could enjoy the view that was about all. There was a gift... More

Recently renovated, the small 2 bedroom cottages on top of a ridge overlooking Mt. Kinabalu and valley, were very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We ate at the restaurant that was the most peaceful place I think I have ever visited - very friendly - good service and a wide selection of good food. Although tired in appearance, it is... More
