Diane is a wonderful hostess. We had a houseful of Equitour riders, and she made us all comfortble, helped with every detail. Steve is an amazing chef and we ate some of the best food ever. Tomintoul is a wonderful little hamlet, great little shops and great stories from South Africa. Thank you!!!! Cyndie and Mary Ann

We chose to stay at the Argyle just for a couple of nights as we were catching up with some old friends who live locally. We were made so welcome by Diane and Steve. The room was lovely, very large comfortable bed and an en-suite as well. It has a lovely quiet ambiance which is just how we like it.... More

Beautiful, stylishly furnished guest house in a rural area. Spacious, clean bedrooms and a charming breakfast room. Must see! Great breakfast selection. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you so much. Best regards Nico and Jonas

What a warm welcome from Granny D. ! We enjoyed the family ensuite room - we were like at home, the breakfast - so good, the advises regarding children activities, the peaceful atmosphere. This guest house is ideally located in the middle of Cairngorms.

Having a lovely stay here. We are in the annexe room and it is lovely and large. It is warm and comfortable as it is a bit chilly outside. Very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow. The lady of the guest house was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for the first night of our Inverness to Montrose cycle ride. Diane and Steve run a fabulous guest house which has comfortable beds, is clean, homely and offers a great breakfast - Steve's porridge set us up for the next leg of our trip. As well as providing local info for reastaurants etc Diane provided some anti-inflamitory... More

I stayed here whilst working in Scotland, it's got everything you expect from a b&b, warm, comfortable with good wifi I might add!! I stayed in room 6 which had twin beds, it did say twin/double, then on to say my room had a double bed with en suite when I booked which was disappointing when I saw the two... More

This was a beautiful place to stay, very relaxing and friendly. The owner made a big effort to make sure we were well cared for. Breakfasts were really very good, with a good amount of choice on the menu, and freshly baked bread, and good quality food (especially the smoked salmon!). We appreciated the information provided on the local area,... More

Sorry Diane. You made us very welcome and the room was lovely but the breakfast was really horrible. The fruit compote seemed past its best, the parma ham likewise, and not everyone likes a choice of white soda bread or nothing (no toast). Eggs Benedict with salad cream???

We have just returned home after a 1 night stay at Argyle House and could find no fault at all with this lovely bed and breakfast. Diane made us feel very welcome, the rooms were spacious and spotless and the breakfast was delicious especially the warm home made bread. We would certainly not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone... More
