We only stayed one night in the Argyle but were very happy with it- comfy , friendly and a very good breakfast. We were there for the Tomintoul Bike weekend and there was a place to park the bike right outside our room in the private drive. Fresh milk in the bedroom meant I really enjoyed a late-night cuppa too,... More

A very friendly and happy atmosphere greeted me as I stepped through the door soaked through from walking from Nethy Bridge. Diane is a wonderful host and after a wonderful breakfast she also made me a superb sandwich lunch at very short notice.

this was quite fun... after we found the place! (it was us) it is a charming updated older property with very clean and quite nice accommodations. we had a twin room looking out toward the hills, with a shared bath. parking was across the street and easy. breakfast was the best, we had a great visit with the hostess and... After getting trapped in tomintoul due to the snow we came across this lovely little B&B. The owners were very welcoming and the room was perfect for an over night stay. The breakfast was lovely and the owner helped us find an alternative way to our final destination through the snow. Couldn't have been any nicer. I highly recommend this... More

We stayed for 1 night and left hoping we would've had a chance to stay longer. Owners were very friendly. Our room was big with comfortable bed. Bathroom was huge with a good shower and plenty of warm water. Breakfast was just fabulous, lots of choices and all topped with home baked warm bread. Delicious!! There was a nice walk with... More

They are used to catering form business travellers, contractors, walkers, cyclists or sportsmen, and offer the same warm welcome to all. Rooms basic, but clean with good TV... More

We were put into the large room at the back, which we were not aware existed. Ground floor at the crossing, not especially welcoming. It has three beds, which was two more than we needed, but at least it has space and is en-suite. Breakfast Porridge very rich, only managed half!

Small town b&b are the lifeblood of travel. The room was small, the bed comfortable, the mattress a little soft but all in all a good experience. I found the room temperature quite warm but such is life.Shared bathrrom was not a problem. Breakfast is at a set time and comes out at that time. You preorder it the night... More
