Tomintoul is growing as a destination and i was back again, things keep getting better. The Argyle is a warm place to stay with a very friendly welcome from Steve & Diane. They are used to catering form business travellers, contractors, walkers, cyclists or sportsmen, and offer the same warm welcome to all. Rooms basic, but clean with good TV... More

We were put into the large room at the back, which we were not aware existed. Ground floor at the crossing, not especially welcoming. It has three beds, which was two more than we needed, but at least it has space and is en-suite. Breakfast Porridge very rich, only managed half!

Small town b&b are the lifeblood of travel. The room was small, the bed comfortable, the mattress a little soft but all in all a good experience. I found the room temperature quite warm but such is life.Shared bathrrom was not a problem. Breakfast is at a set time and comes out at that time. You preorder it the night... More

A homely b&b with character, creaking floors, shared bathroom and small room with a soft bed. No luxuries here but it is a country town and your expectations should not be high. Breakfast was preordered and delivered to a set time which was fine by me. Happy to recommend for short stays.

This is NOT your 5 star resort, but it IS the best of the kind for B & B's. Steven and Diane run a clean, fun, comfortable B & B that has it all. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great food (more on that in a minute) and a wonderful location. All that with perfect service! We stayed a week, because... More

We stayed at the Argyle Guest House for one night while travelling through Scotland. We stayed in a family room which was quite large - It had 2 twin beds and a double bed. The bathroom was huge. We were very comfortable for the night we were here and had a nice rest. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order.... More

This is a welcoming, professionally run and comfortable guest house. It is the best place to stay in Tomintoull. There was a very good breakfast in the morning. Details had been considered like having fresh milk in the room with the tea & coffee making facilities. The owners cater well for cyclists and were exceptionally helpful when I had a... More

Loved out stay here! Great location with good parking right across the street. Great breakfast. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Room clean and comfortable. Remember these are old buildings but well maintained. Everything in town is a short walk away.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast is delicious and very nicely presented. The owners are really friendly and helpful! Tomintoul is a very small village and if I ever go back, I'd definitely stay at Argyle guest house!
