Our son had his wedding reception here. We just returned from a celebration of life for my MIL. Each and every time we go, the Rizzo family goes above and beyond to make us feel like royalty in their beautiful palace. The spa is very modern and clean with excellent service. The cuisine is 5 stars and will not disappoint.

We had a relaxing two days here enjoying the scenery, delicious food and spa facilities. Particularly like the outdoor jacuzzi and the views! The spa is a lovely experience with friendly staff. Looking forward to returning when the new outdoor pool is finished. Also loved the private terrace off our bedroom with mountain views and palm trees. Was impressed with how the chef adapted the menu to suit allergies and the quality of the food was exceptional, especially the steak. Only cons are: the reception was closed when we arrived and it would have been nice to have been shown to a space to relax or get a drink after a long journey; the lights in the grounds were also switched off - we definitely would have spent time there in the evenings if they had been on. Recommend bringing snacks as there is no bar/vending machine in the facility. We will definitely recommend to friends.

We happened upon this place by accident. We were trying to stay close to San Guiseppe Jato and our reserved place in the neighboring town was disappointing. Our driver who was familiar with this villa, contacted the owner on short notice . Our stay was a surprising delight. The hospitality of the owner, Tamara, was exceptional. The staff was kind and friendly. The facility itself was beautiful and the views of the mountains/valley were breathtaking. My only regret was that we didn't have enough time to spend there.

Place was very nice, quiet and clean. Family and other employees very friendly and helpful. Dinners were amazing food and wine. A bit of difficulty a couple of days with large events going on and with times for the dining room open were confusing. But the staff made it right when we needed to stay in for the night when the dining room was closed. Made sure we had what we needed for a nice stay. Wish the spa and pool had been in operating order during our visit.

The area is beautiful, peaceful and great for walking or hiking, it's off the beaten track & was once a convent. We were disappointed. It seemed to us that it lacked any kind of ambience and was regimented breakfast was 8.30 - 9.30 and mainly a buffet of cakes and sugar, dinner was 8.pm - 9 etc it had a spa and indoor pool but it opened at 3 pm to 7.pm, no tea and coffee facilities, in room, no wifi, only at the small reception, even the TV had to be accessed by hotel staff for you to use in your own room. The word stingy comes to mind.

We visited Casale del Principe with two couples in september 2015. Casale del Principe is a very lovely site, though somewhat away from the places most people may want to visit in Sicily. Who goes there should count 1 - 1,5 hours by car to reach these places. But if you do not mind this, Casale del Principe is a great choice! It has a beautiful building with equally beautiful gardens. There is a relatively new wellness centre that is small but very beautiful. We ordered two of the most expensive type of rooms and were very pleasantly surprised by these rooms: spacious, well equipped and decorated in a modern and surprising way. The rooms were clean and the beds were good. The owners and staff were very helpful and gave us some great tips dor places to visit nearby (a biological farm and a cantina where we could see how the wine was being produced) that we enjoyed very much. Breakfast was great with among others a great variety of home made cakes every morning. Dinner was good. allthough to our opinion not super. There is something however, that definitely needs improvement and that is the wifi connection. The rooms did not have wifi connection at all and the wifi connection at the reception did not work all the time. Although Casale del Principe is situated in the countryside and perhaps not all tooeasy to find, there are enough signals along the road to make you find it without too much problems. Mind you however for the roads in the last kilometers. When I say that these are not too good, this is an understatement.

What a beautiful place to say. During a recent trip to Sicily last month, I traveled with a group to 5 different places in Sicily. This was my favorite "hotel". The combination of views, the feel, and the food are what made it my favorite. When we arrived, I couldnt believe it. You're nestled in the green fields of sicily. A castle up on a hill awaits you, with family ready to greet you and take you to your room. There is music playing out in the courtyard and you can smell the chef cooking. The rooms are impeccable and are all designed differently in unique styles. A group of us stayed in the more modern wing, renovated rooms and we LOVED it. I would highly recommend staying in this wing. The other rooms are beautiful as well, but not as modern and spa-like. The spa and pool is breathtaking. Relaxing would be an understatement. There is so much to say about the food that the staff made for us. Each night, there was a totally different menu and everything was delicious. From fresh soups, to handmade pasta and risottos, delicious salads, and dessert. Breakfast was a great way to start the day at Casale del Principe. Breakfast was fresh, and delicious every morning. We sat outside on the terrace as the sun came over us each morning. Fresh fruits, pastries, meat, cheeses, juices, coffee!!, and marmalades. Each morning, afternoon, and evening, we were greeted and treated like very special guests. After long days of traveling and sightseeing, this was a wonderful place to go home to. A must see, and experience! I would love to return some day.

I stayed here with a travel group for 3 nights in June. My room was bright and cheerful. The rustic setting is unparalleled with incredible views of the countryside and sunset. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The matriarch picked cherries from their tree especially for us. Dinner is also fabulous, especially the soups and desserts--I'm partial to these courses. I would return if in the area. Highly recommend.

We arrived and stayed three days here in this extraordinary hotel. The family welcomed us with an array of sumptuous appetizers. We had the best dinners here - vegetable soup, asparagus soup, raviolis, and so much more. The charm of this place is second to none. I had a massage and it was wonderful. The castle and its surroundings are just what you are looking for in Sicily. Thank you so much rose
