We were a little concerned after reading previews regarding the attitude of the staff so we were very pleasantly surprised with the service we received. Benni and Chiara on reception couldn't do enough for us from organising our days sightseeing, printing out maps, giving us tips on where to park etc. Chiara even took us to the police station after... I stayed here because I was arriving to Palermo late at night on a ferry. The location is great - not a long drive from the city but in a much quieter area. The views from the hotel over the surrounding hills and valleys are beautiful and the accommodation had everything I needed. I wasn't staying for a holiday though,... More

We stayed here two years ago, thinking the hotel was in Monreale as we were given to understand it was a short stroll from the cathedral. Well, it is but to it is outside the town. To reach the centre by foot you need to cross a terrifyingly busy road and climb steeply. Our room was fine but the staff... More

First, like many other reviewers, I would like to point out the arrogance and the unfriendly attitude of the 3 or 4 people managing this hotel from the reception to the grandma boss! I think the least you can ask for from a hotel is a good night sleep , which we haven't had for 2 nights out of 3... More

We travelled on the same tour as the previous reviewer but had the misfortune to be allocated a room immediately under the revolving restaurant floor. It also overlooked the main road from which there was considerable noise at night - but this was nothing compared to the noise from the restaurant above which was hosting a party on our first... We spent two nights here as part of a VJV tour of Sicily. The access was very awkward and we crossed the road under the supervision of the hotel lollipop lady (sorry, receptionist!). An odd looking building, with a small pool and outside seating area all quite close to the road. I imagine rooms facing the road would be noisy,... More

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms were nice (we had rooms on the first floor) and the bathrooms had all facilities and were very well serviced (clean and well maintained). Rooms have either Monreale view or seaview. Breakfast is good with bread, warm croissants, cheese etc. as well as fruits, cerials etc.

We booked this hotel in early February for a stay in September 2011. Having received a confirmation e-mail and assurances that the booking was made, we turned up at the hotel during our holiday to be told that it was overbooked (without further explanation). We were directed to an alternative hotel - which was fine - but this should not... More

We were a group of 13 & flying out of Palermo. We couldn't find a hotel in Palermo to accommodate all of us, which is why we ended up staying here. I've traveled through Italy before & stayed in various hotels. This by far was the most horrific experience. I am not certain how this hotel has 4 stars. We... More

Like some previous reviewers we were here for 2 nights on a VJV tour. Our room was on the ground floor and very spacious and clean. I can't really fault the room, although some travelling companions reported much smaller rooms so I think we were lucky. The A/C worked which on this trip was a major breakthrough! The hotel is...
