My wife and I had a delightful 3-day stay. The staff was very helpful, warm, and congenial. Our decent-size and meticulously clean room had a spectacular view over the Palermo area, as does the breakfast room and hotel patio. The publc rooms are a very attractive blend of old and new appointments. However, if you are driving, you should already... more

We booked this hotel through venere.com after reading the Tripadvisor reviews. It was hard to believe this was the same hotel we had read about. True, the views are magnificent, and Monreale is definitely a good base for a visit to Palermo (by bus). The wonderful cathedral and cloisters in Monreale itself are worth the stay as well, and the... more

Stayed here for a couple of nights before continuing on to a villa. It was in reach of Palermo airport after a late flight, and we had a hire car and wanted to keep out of Palermo itself. There was also a free car park, welcome if you see the state of the cars parked in the roads around Palermo.... more

I contacted them directly the day before my reservation. The staff were very helpful and actually charged me less then the rate they quoted on the phone. It's a little difficult to drive there; the road is narrow, but once you are there it has a large parking lot and is a short walk into town. The balcony has a... more

We stayed at the Carrubella Park Hotel on the first two nights of a multi-point stay in Sicily. We arrived in Palermo at around 8.00pm and it was dark. Luckily we had a European Tom Tom with us or I don't think we would ever have found Monreale, let alone the hotel. The satnav took us to Monreale town centre... more

Made a reservation for two days, sent Card number to confirm, had copy of the confirmation with me but arrived at the Hotel and was told no room in the Inn. Apparently the manager took a group tour to fill the hotel and since our arrival was scheduled for 10 pm. we were out of luck. When I asked manager... more

Stayed in Carrubella at the end of 12 days in Sicily rather than stay in chaotic Palermo. Wonderful views, helpful staff. Easy stroll into town , nice to leave the car parked and wander the neighborhood. Highly recommend it as an alternative to Palermo more

Unlike other reviewers we had no trouble finding the hotel - except for the mad drivers! Very pleasant hotel and good value for money. Views lovely and easy bus ride into Palermo. more

Booked through Venere, based on reviews here. Stayed 2 nights as a base to explore Palermo and the Monreale Duomo. Deciding against experiencing Palermo's traffic and parking challenge proved to be a very good idea, as there's a bus from the Piazza del Duomo to Piazza Indipendenza in Palermo (avg. 30 min. ride). Walking from the hotel down to the... more

My husband, mother and I have just come back from spending three glorious days in Monreale, Sicily. We had such a great time because of several reasons. First, we booked into the Carrubella Park Hotel, as advised by Tripadvisor! It was a lovely family run hotel. No frills but they were incredibly attentive to our needs and the hotel boasts... more
