When arriving in Monreale by car, we stopped and asked some local people if they could give an address where to stay overnight. On their advise we went to the B&B Elvira Al Duomo and where not disappointed at all. The landlords are very sympathic and helpful. The house is very well maintained. The rooms are very big (space enough... More

After you have squeezed the hire through the gates of Elviria, you are in a tranquil family home. The rooms are of a traditional style, yet the shower and on suite are, in good order. Breakfast was the best on our tour around Sicily and at a time of our choosing, and very plentiful. There are Mosquitos at this time... More

The house is built in the usally style of that region. Also the interior is in this charming italien style. The breakfast is very plenty, like in a first class hotel. You are being feed up a lot of. But the most importatant is the very lovely and helpful landlordfamilie! If you in trouble, they do all to support you and solve... More

Stayed with Elvira and the family for three nights in April 2014. We had trouble finding the place with the GPS, and driving in Palermo is not for the faint of heart, but once we arrived we found it to be a great launching point for visiting Palermo and seeing the outstanding Norman Monreale Cathedral just 10 minutes up the... Six of us - 3 couples - stayed here for 2 nights and what a great find it was by one of our party. So what was good. 1. Excellent secure free car park. 2. Warm but not pushy welcome by Elvira and her family 3 Spotless well equipped bedrooms and ensuite facilities 4. 5 minute walk to Monreale centre... More

Good stay just for one night. Not enough to visit Palermo. The breakfast was good and all the amenities too. You can visit Monreale from the B&B, walking distance up to the hill. The room was big but the bathroom so small.

I stayed for 1 night at Elvira. She and her husband are so friendly and made the stay a comfortable one. We could park the car and had free wifi. Rooms were large and decorated like typical Sicilian homes. Breakfast was amazing...lots of delicious products. The place is also close to the magnificent Duomo di Monreale...a must see. Palermo is... More

If you are looking for a quiet place but not too far from the centre of Monreale, this is it. Nice garden, excellent breakfast and run by a very friendly and helpful family. The Monreale cathedral is a ten minutes walk from the house. Recommended.
