The hotel is situated right next to the Duomo of Monreale. It is very modern and clean, and the rooms are large and attractive. The service is excellent and attention is given to every detail, the staff are very helpful. Breakfast is served at a bar close by and the food is extraordinary. Would definitely go again

Driving from the airport to Monreale after dark in a brand new hire car was a stressful experience but moment we arrived at Locanda Re Ruggero the holiday really began. The car was deftly driven off to be parked while we were shown to a well appointed large double room with a settee, unusual ceramic lamps and a spotlessly clean... More

Found about this place from a local. Checked place out, booked a table and came back later. Was really worth it. We got really good service. Music was some American jazz but when I requested Andrea Bochelli they put it on straight away. Food was great too.

Excellent location, rooms comfortable and spacious, modern and tastefully furnished, very nice and functional bathroom and all very clean. Extremly nice and helpfull stuff (for example car was brought to the parking station and retourned exactly at time we wanted while we got a coffee during waiting). Also eating in the restaurant ist very recommandable; for example you get a... More

This is an excellently located, nicely furnished, clean, comfortable room. Shower works well, adequate lighting, comfortable bed. Such nice, helpful staff. Parking is not far, the duomo is next door. Excellent value for money. GM

A very interesting place to stay in a town with a wonderful Duomo covered with mosaics. The town is apparently a Mafia stronghold!. My room was comfortable, the shower easy to work, good lighting and the staff were friendly. There is a restaurant, but for breakfast we had to go to a bar for delicious coffee and cakes The only drawback... More

We very much enjoyed our 2 nights stay in Locanda Re Ruggero. Being a small city we feared it might be difficult to reach and park nearby but the drive up was quite smooth and parking easily found (although it is a paying service). Upon arrival we were offered the choice between 2 rooms: the family apartment or a room... More

After driving endlessly through the entire city of Monreale, we were relieved to finally find the B&B. Not being particularly impressed by the newer part of Monreale, we quickly realized that we had not only chosen the best location, but also the best B&B in town. The friendly service, the assistance with our bags, the pretty room all added to... More

we arrived after a difficult drive from Marsala and to our horror found the previous hotel had given me the wrong passport. Guiseppe took over and spent half an hour on the phone for me and the passport arrived two hours later and the wrong one taken back - what a star. he has gathered a good team around him... More

The hotel is situated in the heart of Monreale, just behind the Cathedral and main square. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortably furnished. The staff was wonderful, we were greeted as we pulled up in front of the building and were helped to find a spot to park our car in. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant and were... More
