This chateau hotel is a lovely place to stay. If you are lucky, you will be able to reserve a room in the chateau itself. However, the rooms in the annex are huge and comfortable. The staff and management could not have been more helpful.

We were upgraded for free to one of the castle rooms with a nice view. The gardens are impressive and the park is peaceful. Staff is accommodating and the breakfast was very good. Would very much recommend for a relaxing weekend trip.

Our fifth day in France we left Paris for the Loire Valley. Our first night was a stay at Chateau de la Bourdaisiere. What a beautiful Chateau. Our room was the third floor of the center of the building. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. All of the reservations... More

Yes, the building and gardens are charming but further on very disappointing . Room in the dependance OK. Dinner no choice , single menu , without any fantasy or french kitchen, overcooked and fat does not deserve the name of a "restaurant". Better to refer guests to another local restaurant.Breakfast poor, no fresh bread , croissant rubber and taking hours... More

Great stay in a perfect serene surroundings. Quite impressive building in a fair shape. Gorgeous Lebanese cedars on the chateau grounds create a dreamy atmosphere. Chef dinner prepared with organic vegetables from the beautiful chateau’s garden. Would be even better if the waiters would break some English so they could present the dishes…

Completely lovely experience. Gardens behind were amazing with 653 varieties of tomatoes!!!!! Beautiful dahlias too. Internet didn't work in our room. Broken modem. They were going to fix it next day for us but we were leaving. Breakfast nothing hot excepting boiled eggs but that seemed pretty common through our European travels. We had a cooking class where we made... More

We stayed in the Henri IV (deluxe) room in the Chateau. Huge lovely room with a canopy bed and attached bathroom. Very impressive except that the bathroom door handle was broken, the floors were creaky and the toilet was set on a slant. This made night time visits memorable. There is no air conditioning. The lone staff person was quite... More

If you to spend a night in a 15th century castle, this is definetly the place! With over 50 acres of land, is very quiet place to relax. Tennis court and swimming pool. Fantastic vegetable garden with over 400 different type of tomatoes. You can see the chef picking the vegetables and herbs for the dinner. Next to it the... More
