Just come home today from the fabulous place. Ignore all the bad reviews they are very fussy people or hard to please. The bedrooms are a bit tired but how long do you spend in the rooms, beds and towels are changed every day, rooms are spotless. As for comments regarding food and drinks I think these people must have... More

We had seen this hotel before, so decided to give it a try. Its a little tired but not enough to hurt the holiday. Food is excellent and plentiful. The booze is well drinkable. Rooms are clean, one slight problem is that they supply a coffee maker but you have to ask for milk etc. Entertainment is very good especially... More

We visited this resort for a destination wedding Feb 13-20, 2015. Bride & Groom to be paid an upgrade for a bungalow that had no hot water. After 4 days of no hot water, and bride getting married in another room....they got them different accommodations. Service was terrible! I ave travelled to different resorts and have always had wait staff... More

We actually stayed at the Melia Jardines Del Rey (see my other review), February 6th to the 13th, but as a Melia guest, you can go to their other resorts on a day pass. So my review is based on my day at this resort. We have been traveling for about 20 years, sometimes twice a year, all over the... More

We travelled to this resort Feb 13-20th, 2015 with another couple. Overall was an okay vacation. Our room was too far away in 3200 block 2nd floor.. there were no lights in the halls and even when we asked to be fixed , never was done and the fact we paid for an upgrade I was not impressed. The room... More

My wife and I spent the week of Feb 13 - 20, 2015 at this resort. Overall experience was excellent. Airport arrival was quick without problems. 40 minute drive to the resort, beer available on bus ride enroute. Check--in was efficient provided that three planeloads from Canada landed within 30 min. Located room in 3000 block on third level. This... More

My wife and I have just returned from a relaxing week at this resort. We have become seasoned travellers in the past 4-5 years. Visiting several differing all inclusive resorts in different countries, and seasons. From the time we arrived ,our first impressions of this resort, We were skeptical, Our room was well worn, the bathroom although very functional is... More

Good morning CHASCO690! Thank you for your comments about our hotel in thie site. The staff as you mentioned, is one of the assets of our hotel, and is very friendly and professional. We have said before that the hotel will have an updating of the infraestructure and also the pier and we are sure that will be very welcome... More

I traveled to the Melia Cayo Guillermo with my 21 year old daughter from Jan 30th to Feb 6th. It was our first time in Cuba and chose this hotel thanks to the great recommendation by our neighbour who had been twice already. I loved the layout of the resort with everything being a short walk whether it was the... More

My wife and I have just returned from our honeymoon at Melia, Cayo Guillermo. The whole experience was absolutely phenomenal and we are sure to return to this hotel in the future. It would be easy to be critical of the rooms as they are evidently not up to standards of European/American hotels but they are functional, our bed was... More

Returned from the Melia Cayo Guillermo yesterday. Having spent 14 days at Melia Guillermo I have to say I was really impressed. Read all the reviews on TA, especially the bad ones, but I can't see a thing to complain about. It was our first shot at an All Inclusive holiday, so we went with no pre-concieved ideas of what...
