My husband and I just returned from a weeks vacation at this resort, it was our second time here. The resort is awesome, food is delicious, the la carte restaurants are very good, the grounds are always kept immaculate and the people are the best. We just noticed from our first time at the resort that the rooms are very very... More

I must have stayed elsewhere!!!!! Here are some pics of our room. I also found roaches in my food..yes cockroaches...open your eyes travellers...not once but twice...one in my brushetta from the pizza area and a second crawling on my plate...I then saw them in dessert station...the cook stomped on them in the French toast area.....I have reported the problem to... Nice hotel and lovely location but lots things to improve. Big plus are all international brands of alcohol included in all inclusive. Rooms are clean and have air conditioning, but need improvement-especially bathrooms. Food was good but every day the same although big choice , you could get something different every day but if we stayed 2weeka it would be... More

This was our 4th time at the Melia. Overall, the vacation was lovely. Really great beaches and weather and caring staff. We got a lot of perks and great service, but the hotel has really been getting run down over the past couple years. It's sad to see such a great resort deteriorate because the rooms, etc. are not maintained... More

I just got back from from a weeks vacation @ this fantastic resort. We stayed in room 1111. It was close to the pool, restaurants, beach and reception. I travelled with a friend and met a couple new friends at the pool. We had a lovely dinner at the International restaurant - the ambiance was amazing as was the service.... More

Just come home today from the fabulous place. Ignore all the bad reviews they are very fussy people or hard to please. The bedrooms are a bit tired but how long do you spend in the rooms, beds and towels are changed every day, rooms are spotless. As for comments regarding food and drinks I think these people must have... More

We had seen this hotel before, so decided to give it a try. Its a little tired but not enough to hurt the holiday. Food is excellent and plentiful. The booze is well drinkable. Rooms are clean, one slight problem is that they supply a coffee maker but you have to ask for milk etc. Entertainment is very good especially... More

We visited this resort for a destination wedding Feb 13-20, 2015. Bride & Groom to be paid an upgrade for a bungalow that had no hot water. After 4 days of no hot water, and bride getting married in another room....they got them different accommodations. Service was terrible! I ave travelled to different resorts and have always had wait staff... More

We actually stayed at the Melia Jardines Del Rey (see my other review), February 6th to the 13th, but as a Melia guest, you can go to their other resorts on a day pass. So my review is based on my day at this resort. We have been traveling for about 20 years, sometimes twice a year, all over the... More

We travelled to this resort Feb 13-20th, 2015 with another couple. Overall was an okay vacation. Our room was too far away in 3200 block 2nd floor.. there were no lights in the halls and even when we asked to be fixed , never was done and the fact we paid for an upgrade I was not impressed. The room... More
