Even by Cuban standards this hotel is not a 4 star, the room we had was number 1549 situated in the Pinar Del Rio building it was on the ground floor and had a little terrace, when first... more

Airport: Arrival quick & efficient.Departure was extremely slow to get boarding pass.It took 20 minutes to Cayo Coco & another 20 to Cayo Guillermo. Check-in: Don't expect dancers, welcome drinks.Check-in was very slow but you're on vacation, so what's the rush? Rooms: We stayed in the Baracoa building room 2244 which is the furthest from the lobby but what the... more

My husband and I stayed in the Iberostar Daiquiri from May 30-June 6 and we had a fantastic time. We have travelled all across the Caribbean and this was one of our favourite trips. Beware that because it is rainy season there are quit a few mosquitoes, so make sure to bring bug spray. The beach is fantastic- it is... more

It was our second trip to Cuba, and we can't wait to go back. This was our first time at the ID and it was everything we had hoped for. Arrival: We travelled on Air Transat from Toronto and you can't beat the 3 hour flight. We arrived on time and went through the Cuban customs fairly quickly. We had... more

We stayed at the Iberostar Daiquiri in April, travelling with First Choice. On arrival the reception staff were very well organised, our rooms were ready for us and checking in was quick & easy. We waited nearly an hour for our bags to arrive at the room which was a pain as we just wanted a long cool drink after... more

In a few words, the resort itself was all right, food and service was good. But what kind of 4 star resort has no beach towels in the morning until 2 pm ? This one has this problem. Another problem was that the air conditioning was not working quite well, it had only one setting, not cool enough. We changed... more

Prior to visit read many reviews which gave the impression this resort was first class. But seeing is believing, the service was very bad, fridge was not stocked daily and one day waited seven hours for a bottle of water. We tried to get our own and were told we had to wait for it to be brought to the room... more
