We spent a week at this hotel, for the third time in past 6 years. Our overall impressions are such that we would absolutely go back there again. The good thing about going back to the same resort is that we waste absolutely no time (which on vacation is super precious) to figure out what we want to do and... more

This was our first trip to a beach resort and we really didn't know what to expect. The flight was nothing special, it was Thomas Cook and you had to pay for your drinks and headphones. Also there was no room between the aisles! On arrival at the airport the transfer bus was waiting for us. It is about half... more

Travelled with Thomas Cook - great legroom, miserable air crew and not a patch on Virgin Atlantic. Can't believe you pay for headsets and soft drinks! Through airport very swiftly and transfer all went well. As it was our wedding anniversary, I'd e-mailed the hotel and requested a sea-view room which we got and we'd been left a bottle of... more

Stayed at the ID June 20 - 27th and in our opinion, this hotel is barely a three star. This was our eigth all inclusive, third one in Cuba and only one place in Puerto Plata was worse. The BAD. The A/C was very poor in both our rooms. (Bring an old points or gift card as it is card... more

My family and I stayed at the Iberostar Daiquiri and all in all, it was not bad. However, it was not fantastic either. My only real complaint is about the rooms. The mattresses were horrible and the a/c didn't work very well. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well and it cought up with us by day 3. My brother-in-law's... more

My husband and I stayed at the Iberostar Daiquiri during the first 2 weeks of June - our first time in Cuba, and also first time with Iberostar. We flew with Thomas Cook - had booked seats in the premium cabin (mainly for the extra space) and the flights were excellent, both travelling out and returning to the UK. We... more
