My wife and i have just returned from our 4th stay at the amazing Iberostar Daiquiri, each time gets better and better. As soon as we had checked in we were being hugged and kissed as though we were family, but that is exactly how the staff treat you. It is so funny, but also annoying, to read some people... more

After reading quite a few negative reports, i didn't really know what to expect when we arrived, but i certainly wasn't disappointed with the spotlessly clean hotel and very, very freindly staff.i suppose if you are a really meany minded insipid person you could have picked up on a few trivial matters, but overall the complex really is a joy.Although... more

We were laughing about the the bad reviews before we went to Cuba and we are laughing even more while reading them now when we came back! Some people live just to complain - if you are not willing to explore new things and enjoy your life - stay at home in front of your TV.. Tell you one thing:... more

The resort was great: blue waters, white sand and most important of all, lovely people. We stayed in room 4243 in the Varadero villa, really close to the beach, pool and restaurant. The rooms were clean and I believe that our sheets were changed every day. The waiters were really nice to you, especially Becky and Lazaro. Becky organized a... more

I was extremley concerned by the previous comments made by visitors to this site and can confirm that i had a wondeful time and could not fault the hotel, staff, the beach . I suggest that the comments that were made were not justified and that the previous visitors most probably had a bad week. I can recomend the speed... more

I went with my wife and toddler to ID from Nov. 26 to Dec. 3rd with Transat Holidays. We've been to Cuba once before; we stayed at the Superclub Breezes Varadero last time. I'd have to say that despite the ID having half a star less than the Breezes, the ID was better in almost every respect. Better food, staff,... more

I have been to most of the Caribbean and This area does have some of the best beaches I have seen. That said every day we had STRONG winds, ofcourse not fault of the resort but some days so strong that you couldnt even attempt to sit on the beach. Very easy to get burnt ! since the wind was... more

December 1 to 8, 2009 This was our first vacation which included three generations and we were well satisfied that the resort catered to all of our wants and needs. There are a variety of daily activities for each of the age groups that are well organized and paced. The staff is very well qualified to deal with children of... more

we were a little bt worried about going after reading some of the reviews before we went ,but how wrong they were ,we saw no dirty plates or dirty tablecloths and there was always plenty of choice with the food although they must repeat the menus on a weekly basis as we noticed the meals repeating the second week .We... more

This is our fourth trip to Cuba and this hotel is by far the best we've stayed in. This is the place to go, especially if you have children. The staff are the best! I can't say enough about these people. Our kids got so much attention and had so much to do I wasn't sure they were going to... more
