Appearances can be deceiving and this place doesn't look that great from the road. What you find inside is a warm and efficient welcome and very tidy units which are well maintained, spotlessly clean and well provisioned. We stayed here two nights. We were very comfortable. The unit we were in had four single beds, two in a separate bedroom,... More

good location in middle of town, ditch the car and walk the mountain with a soak afterwards in domain hot pools. pub across the road worth popping inside for a drink. spotlessly clean unit, updated interior with nice touches like chocs and biscuits and loads of bathroom products. would happily return to this sweet spot in cute little waikato town.

We stayed here at the end of the Hauraki rail trail cycle. The hosts are thoughtful and knowledgeable about what to do and where to go. They stored our bags and bikes as well as kindly extending check out as they were not fully booked. The rooms were very clean and for the price were excellent value with all amenities... More

Stayed one night in a king studio. Motel old but in good condition. Very clean. Close to town and walks, hot mineral pools. Owner helpful. Little extras in unit like chocolates, pepper mints, biscuits.

Stayed last weekend, great location, very clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff who made us feel welcome, good information on attractions, eating places, etc. Aircon available., I just can't say enough about the place. Will definitely be back and will definitely tell our friends.

We stayed here for one night at the end of biking the Hauraki Rail Trail. The motel was spotlessly clean and the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. We locked our bikes in his shed overnight and he kindly held our baggage until 4pm when the shuttle was due to collect us. He advised us on a number of places... More

The motel has been around a long time, no doubt of that and its decor reflects that - yet it offers you a bit of a difference and ones we certainly enjoyed. Everything fro little packet of insect repellent to chocolates and mints (strategically placed under a small non-smoking sign), make-up removal wipes to two packets of biscuits even. While... More

We stayed at the Te Aroha Motel for five nights, We found the unit exceptionally clean and well serviced with some nice little touches of free stuff, soap, shampoo etc. The hosts were wonderrful and gave us maps and showed us places of interest and a lot of historical information. We would not hesitate to recommend this Motel to others.... More

This is a great little motel, right in the centre of town. Altough the rooms are a little dated they are spotlessly clean. Our room had a double and a single bed that were comfortable but our preference would have been to just have a queen or king bed. We had a front room facing the lawn, which is preferable... More
