I spent a couple of nights at Hotel La Roya whilst on holiday in Corsica. This is an absolutely beautiful hotel located on the beach. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was one of the best I had in Corsica and the breakfast buffet was definitely the best I had in Corsica. I highly... More

I was here one night early October as part of a motorcycle group. That day had been difficult as it was raining and the whole northwest of Corsica was enveloped in a huge dense fog. Riding required extra care so we arrived pretty bushed in the late afternoon. Everybody was so charming and concerned that we checked in quickly and... More

There is no better hotel in Saint Florent. The standard is high and so the price. We paid extra for the breakfast. They iron the table linens on the table (to be more luxury class). You won't see any folds. That's fancy but definitely not necessary. We stayed in #19 with meadow and seaview. This room with the balcony is... More

2 nights end of october: Off-season the price is way lower and so La Roya is a good deal. But I would not pay the standart rates. The staff is great, the breakfast a dream (was included, but 25 Euro... wouldn't have payed that much!). A bit outside, nice beach. Conclusion: off season a good deal

We stayed for a week at the beginning of September 2013 on a B&B deal. Firstly Corsica is not cheap by any standards and the hotel is no different - on arrival a small cheese board plus two coffees - 32 Euro's. I have stayed in may hotels all over the world on business and by most standards this was... More

One of the best hotels we've been. Very friendly staff, nice clean room, very relaxing atmosphere, fantastic breakfast. We had diner in the 1 Michelin Star restaurant, and it was wonderfull. Not cheap, but worth the price. The only - small - thing is the beach. It's very small, and the water was very brown because of a natural phenomena.... More

We traveled around Corsica on a private sailing boat and decided to have lunch at La Roya and then sail to Antibes that same evening. When arriving we were greeted by the very friendly staff but also told that the Michelin star menu is only available in the evening. Telling them that at this time we would be somewhere in... More

This was our second visit to La Roya and it did not disappoint. Peace and tranquillity are just two of the reasons to visit this beautifully located hotel situated in one of the most perfect spots in Corsica. It overlooks the Gulf of Saint Florent and has a wonderful view of the picturesque little town of the same name. The... More

We had a friendly service throughout our stay, and a room with some sea view. It was nice to sleep with the sound of the waves breaking a few meters away. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The top moment of the visit was dining at the recommendable hotel restaurant terrace. In spite of the chilly evening, we enjoyed the "menu... More

We only have dinner at La Roya and we don't regret it. Diner outside in the garden. The food of Corse is very good but it is nice to have again the modern French kitchen. Fish and meat was great and also the dessert with strawberries. We like the oil so we also buy a little bottle for at home.
