Pensione Signorini was recommended by Italian family members because it was close to a house they had rented for July. I was totally pleased with this little treasure of a hotel once I arrived and began my week's stay. As others have said, Virginia and her family immediately make you feel like one of their own. Virginia's English is excellent... More

A wonderful place nearly hidden away on the Tuscan shore. The pensione is only a stones throw from the beach and in the midst of a very fascinating area of Italy. I traveled with friends and found the place more by accident. The family who runs the hotel was wonderful and the food was amazing! This was my first time... More

It was great that I was able to come back and enjoy this wonderful pensione! The weather in October is beautiful and the warm reception of the owners even better! Large clean rooms, great for families. Only a few yards from the beach and fantastic home made pasta! Every time I come they make it feel like home. There is... More

The food was wonderful, service was amazing, and location was great! The beach is just down the street as is the yacht club port area with many small boutique stores. We went in October and the weather was great! Rooms were large and some have a view of the ocean. The family at the hotel is wonderful and friendly and... More

The pensione is steps from the Tyrrhenean Sea, some rooms have sea views. The beach is sandy and has places to sit and watch the people and the sea. Many Italians here on vacation. This is the best food, all made in the kitchen by a family of excellent cooks! The hosts are congenial and helpful. The wife speaks excellent... More

My partner and I found Pensione Signorini completely by chance, looking for a weekend away on the seaside. What we discovered at Pensione Signorini was a warm, friendly reception by the husband-wife team and felt like we were taken in as family by them and their greater family. The home cooked meals were the best in town, the atmosphere was... More

We arrived in Castiglioncello on a sunny late afternoon and were looking for a reasonable place to stay the night before flying home from Pisa. What a delightful find and what wonderful hosts, Virginia speaks good English, her Armenian Poet husband, who understands but does not speak English and Grandma who speaks Spanish and makes the most heavenly cakes for...
