We stayed two nights at Danforth and that was ... too short. The staff is friendly and professionnal, the food is delicious, the place is charming and they have all the equipment to scubadive, sail, waterski, wakeboard (and even wakeskate). The perfect place to relax and enjoy watersports between two safaris. Highly recommended.

Our 6 nights stay at Danforth followed 8 nights at 2 locations in South Africa Put together by Aardvark and what a great package it was. After the amazing safari experience it proved to be the perfect end to our African adventure. We were a family group of 6 adults and 4 children aged 7to11. Danforth is beautiful location on... More

I stayed at Danforth with a couple of friends for 3 memorable nights. There's tons to love about the place. First and foremost, the food is truly excellent. Meal times are more or less fixed, and guests are called to the table by the clarion call of the dinner bell. The food throughout our time there was very fresh and... More

After a two weeks safari tour in Zambia we've stayed for five nights in this great lodge. Beautiful setting, very nice owners and staff, good rooms and good food. A lot of activities to do: kayaking, sailing, snorkling etc. Our children enjoyed a fantastic tubing experience. The sunset on the deck near the bar is fabulous.

We booked our holiday with Imagine Africa. We had never booked a holiday via the internet before but the reason we did this was that the company tailored our holiday in accordance to the number of days, the countries we wanted to visit and the price range. Imagine Africa were so efficient in e-mailing and knowing what type of holiday... More

Danforth is one of those places that you just relax into as soon as you arrive. You feel like you have been there forever and you definitely don't want to leave. We travelled as a family of four (kids 8 and 11) and between us all we swam, sailed, water-skied, dived, tubed, snorkelled, kayaked, trampolined, played table tennis, walked into... More

I came to Danforth Yachting for the 3rd time this year and it still has the same effect on me: Woaw! The place is peaceful, the owners and staff are super friendly, the food is delicious, the lake is absoultely breathtaking, watersports made accesible to everyone: snorkling, diving, yachting, sailing, wakeboarding - you name it, rooms are spacious and have... Truly a peaceful, welcoming, and beautiful place. The owners are extremely generous with their warmth and lodge, as were the staff. The food was phenomenal and creative. As a vegetarian there were consistently excellent vegetarian options. The quality for the price is the best part. With all meals, snacks, tea and non-motorized sports such as kayaks and bikes included, it... More

We had a wonderful stay and the owners Michelle & Howard, the manager Eva and in particular the activities team Kate & Dean made it a memorable experience in hospitality! The rooms are generous in size and well kept, the food is plentyful but a bit old fashioned and the vegetarian choices could have a little more variety; the selection... More

If you want to enjoy water sports on lake malawi, this is the place. Not only does Danforth carry an extensive range of high quality equipment, the team is ready to help you enjoy it regardless of your level. PADI scuba diving, sailing, speed boat, and the lovely Mufasa. My dive, any early morning hike and a lakeshore paddle were... More
