Wow. What a beautiful home. Ben and Mimi have opened up five bedrooms in this exclusive house to allow them to afford to live in it, and you can see why. Mimi has decorated it in character with its Georgian history, plus some nice touches like the window seats in the bathrooms. The rooms are stunning and large, with every... more

This is the ideal place for a quiet, luxurious break in a beautiful riverside setting. Moccas Court is a Grade 1 listed Georgian house with 5 bedrooms. We stayed in the River Room - we loved the window seat in the bathroom, the perfect place to read! Just as well, as we spent a delightful rainy day going from bookshop... more

The setting is stunning, the views are very beautiful in autumn, we had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The food was amazing and the owners are the most delightful hosts who care passionately about their guests' experience.I would recommend Moccas if you are looking for something unique and special. Dont go there if you like modern, soulless and anonymous. Ideal location for Hay Festival. more

We stayed at Moccas Court in June this year but the happy memories linger still. The house, rooms and grounds are stunning and the estate creates a fairytale feeling from the moment you turn into the drive. Owners Ben and Mimi could not be more welcoming and Ben's cooking is fabulous. It's worth noting that Moccas is run on 'house... more

Very much a last-minute impulse to spend our anniversary in this luxurious stately home, the elegant accommodation and fine dining were a real treat. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. We got to know our fellow guests over a pre-dinner drink, then enjoyed fine dining and candle-lit conversation in the elegant 'Round Room' overlooking the river.... more

Approached via a long private drive through pasture and parkland, this beautiful house is alongside the Wye river, of which the rooms have gorgeous views. A stay there gives the opportunity of enjoying a perfect Adam house Our room on the first floor had windows on two sides, up-river and directly on to it. A very comfortable bed, very good... more

Moccas Court is a beautiful stately home set in magnificent grounds but the welcome you receive makes you feel like returning, very welcome friends. Mimi & Ben make everyone feel very much at home and instantly put guests at ease. Ben's cooking is delicious, Mimi is attentive to guests needs and Zulu, their friendly lab, is very happy to do... more

It's difficult to add anything to the superlative reviews already on tripadvisor except to say that the long drive and the view of the house are so imposing that it's a welcome surprise to be greeted at the car by a friendly black lab and a smiling host dressed in jeans, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. We... more

A wonderful end to our vacation. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay a second night. Their unique approach to dinning allows one to feel like they are part of something special by bringing guests together in a intimate and historical setting, an experience lost in today's hi-tech world. Hereford and nearby Hay-on-Wye are well worth... more

Not so much a hotel, more like being invited to a dinner party at a country estate! Excellent traditional food by Ben; everyone eating around a circular table in the historic dining room is so much nicer than eating in a faceless restaurant. Wonderful service - nothing seems to much trouble. Great views over the Wye from the spacecous bedroom.... more
