Although the hotel is situated on a very large ecological property and the rooms were well furnished and beautiful, we were not really fond of the hotel. The atmosphere / hospitality was not very warm (a bit fake), a big contrast with other hotels we visited in Sicily. Food was to expensive. Wen we entered the hotel that was one... More

We had the most basic room at the hotel but it was perfectly comfortable and better value than where we had stayed in Taormina. The grounds and views at the hotel are stunning. Lying by the pool overlooking the countryside down to the sea was wonderful and will stay in my memory. We also witnessed some impressive eruptions from Etna... More

Sicily is one of the most excellence we have in Italy, reach of history, landscape and food experiance. If you wish to stay in a property that can offer you a unique accommodation, an excellent gourmand Experiance and an exclusive staff I totally recommend you to stay here.

With a property this stunning, and a concept this good, they should be able to charge top prices, but they don't. They don't because they can't (always the case in the free market); and that's because the execution falls short of the promise. For a start, there's the whole eco-tourism thing. They grow their own food. Delicious idea. And they... More

Stayed here in October 2013 for a week for our honeymoon and it is such a beautiful place, a small secluded paradise. Wonderful and helpful owners. A very relaxing and calming atmosphere. Best breakfast (fruits, cheeses etc.) that I ever had. We stayed in the very romantic "suite amabile", perfect for honeymooners. The manifestation of understated luxury.

This place is truly beautiful and worth staying at either as a base to visit the Etna and surrounding parks or even in it's own right! It's an agriturismo-meets-boutique hotel and is set in a picturesque, peaceful location, is super stylishly done up in a manner that enhances it's character and beauty, and is staffed with friendly, helpful and professional... We tried so hard to like this hotel and give it the benefit of doubt, but at the end of the day we could only conclude that it misfires in nearly every aspect. Firstly the photos on the website give a much better impression than the reality, and the grounds, especially near the house, where it is really important, were... More

Most of the people (well at least I do), who come to Sicily are coming for the Italian flair and the family atmosphere. This hotel has unfortunately neither. First however the good points, the hotel is professional, well renovated in nice surroundings and it is different then other hotels with an interesting combination of old and modern. The rooms really... More

We only stayed one night at the end of our Sicily holiday before flying back from Catania. This is a refreshingly different place and slightly quirky but exceptional good. Rooms are large, the grounds are extensive (with outdoor pool) and a great place to wander. A very relaxing hotel. Staff are most helpful. Dinner was good and breakfast ample. Etna... More

only had a night here, but wow was it impressive, I stayed in one of the little villas scattered around the terraced vineyards. The place dated back to 1700's. You have a wonderful mix of modern design with lava stone and well thought out design, idyllic setting and cavernous rooms, why do I say perfectly imperfect, well the restoration work... More

Dear Guest, We are delighted for your kind words and we are even happier since you perfectly grasped the real meaning of this place, which is thought to be a Sicilian retreat, away from the chaos of everyday life and from the mainstream tourism. We would like to thank you especially for your feedback on the food of our restaurant.... More
