Visited with friends (group of 18). Wine tour was extremely interesting followed by a lovely lunch. Ben is extremely knowledgeable and explanation is extremely detailed. The wines presented for the wine tasting session are decent. Very well worth visiting.

We stayed as a family for about 1 week in early October 2014. The hotel and all the property is superb for the kids. My daughters loved the organic breakfast and the dinners. The staff was always ready with plenty of suggestions for our daily activities. During our stay, we visited Acitrezza , Taormina, Isola Bella, Noto, Syracuse, Catania and... More

Wife and I, and 3 teenage children stayed for a week in January. A beautifully and tastefully restored property, with some accommodation attached to the main building, and other villas spread around the 40 acres of organic orchards. We loved the vibe of the place, and the ethos of slow food and high end organic principles. Staff bent over backwards... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Monaci for two days, one which happened to be my birthday. The hotel and rooms are gorgeous, the views are breaktaking, the food is fresh, and the staff is exceptional. The worked very closely with my boyfriend to plan a couple of surprises for me. The staff played a huge part in making my... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend some days ago and I only have compliments and words of gratitude about this wonderful and amazing boutique country hotel. I decided to celebrate my girlfriends birthday here and they were able to really accomplish all of my extra requests that I made, making an unforgettable stay which we will always remember. From the... More

As a family with two middle aged children (Age 10 & 11) we found both the concept and the management imaginative. As an developing concept it has both pluses and minuses, here's our take: The old Monastery was purchased from a family and is being slowly converted into a boutique style hotel. The main building houses several suites, the office... More

Sicily at its best! The rooms were exceptional, the food and wine were great. Service was very friendly and everything was done to make our stay special. You must buy their Olive Oil which is one of the best ever. They are passionate about their wine production, their oil, the beauty of the nearby Etna, and they're most passionate about... More

We arrived in this hotel at night, and since the hotel is located in the countryside it looked very dark and scary at first. The lighting was very minimal on the pathway from the carpark to the reception and it got us really worried. However, once we entered the reception, we were greeted warmly by the staff and were offered... More

Fake overbooking, no warning, we found out by chance on arrival at 7 p.m. when we called them to have directions, after a long day traveling. We are afraid but there is no room for you! We where sent after a free disgusting meal (not even the worst trattoria) to a similar hotel 10m away..We ended up completely lost in... More

This "estate" had previously been home to Monks. The present owner has turned this into quite a beautiful setting. The grounds are full of fruit trees, vegetable gardens and of course olive trees. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dinner is offered and the meal was very good but quite pricy. This is nestled at the end of a... More
