Excellent little hotel, with new owners making subtle improvements. Rooms( and beds) are comfortable, some with lakeside views, and the buffet breakfast selection is superb. Adjacently owned casino also houses the hotel's restaurant also excellent.

We had booked this in the hope of looking over the lake, not to be as it was more like a large puddle! The garden furniture was dirty and so we could not use it before wiping it down. The room itself was pleasant enough and clean with all the facilities we needed. We would suggest eating in the town as we had a... What it is: a modern hotel in a slightly remote but quiet location, clean room, good bed, quiet but efficient air co, friendly and helpful staff. Could park my motorbike close to the reception so they kept an eye on it. The swimming pool is nice (could be a bit cleaner (insects)) and the restaurant of the Casino next door... More

Hotel is a bit out of the way and resembles a 1950's American motel. We wanted to check in earlier than our 3pm as my wife had hurt her ankle but were told no rooms would be ready until 5pm. Our "garden" room overlooked a couple of shrubs between us and the building behind us. We couldn't sit on the... More

We arrived at this Hotel and were given a discount and upgraded to a room which was overlooking a river with a balcony. It was a beautifully appointed room and because we liked it so much we booked two nights instead of two. My advice is to avoid the Casino and Restaurant and take the short drive into the charming... Some of the reviews of this best western were a little dubious, but nothing to worry about.! very nice rooms, comfy bed, nice shower, very clean. The standard of housekeeping was second to none (thanks maria). breakfast was a little pricey 9.90 euro for a cake and not much else. overall the hotel is very nice but a bit isolated especially this... Definitely not a good experience, room is really bad. Found it filthy! Towells were so thin and old... We were shocked, not a Best Western average 3stars! But, the staff was kind!

The guide for this hotel was very glossy, so a little shocked to arrive at a butlins type hotel. Small chalets, ours had a broken shower head and a resident lizard who kept us awake most of the one night we stayed. (He was very fast!) We arrived in the afternoon lookin forward to a nice dip and lounge round... More

I don't normally write a bad review, but...This hotel is not what it seems in the guidebook. Restaurant was not good at all. The bar wasn't open (Thurs night), dont' know why. The casino is very dirty. Rooms very under average for Best Western hotels. Would not recommend a "lake view" for extra 20 a night either. Free internet and... More

After reading all hotel reviews for the Gruissan area, we settled on this for a one night stopover as it sounded like value for money. Either you carry your cases to the second floor and get the view, or you settle for the ground floor (as we did) and get a funnel view between hedges of a small bit of... More
