we stayed here for 3 days in early September 2014 as a base to see an area of France unknown to us - the bedroom was fairly simple but clean and comfortable - the owners were apparently away on holiday but the staff were good and looked after us well - we ate in the restaurant for all 3 nights... We were attracted to the hotel both by situation and the added benefit of wifi. The hotel is clean, comfortable and whilst Madame speaks little English she was very helpful. Wifi is available but not in the rooms and when you get if it is not necessarily full strength. Good base for exploring surrounding areas and via Brittany Ferries quite... More

We only stayed one night and as it was a Sunday found the restaurant and bar closed. Good looking building on the outside ,rooms are just about ok and reasonably comfortable but no real atmosphere in hotel.Breakfast was good .Hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the little village centre which is fabulous. The hotel grounds were extensive and managed... More

5 night stay as part of package trip. Very helpful and welcoming owner proud of the area, keen to help about local places to visit. Hotel well located 10 mins walk from town but felt to be rural isolation with swifts circling and owls hooting. Well maintained, nice grounds, only negative lack of tea/ coffee making facilities in room. Restaurant... More

My cousins arrived, having at the time of booking requested a ground floor room, were shown to a room on the second floor. When they declined and asked to see another the man grudgingly did so. This too was unacceptable whereupon the man became very rude - So they left.

If we hadn't booked, I might have thought I couldn't afford it when we saw the place - a lovely manor house tucked off the road, covered in Virginia Creeper. The owners were welcoming, without being fussy, the swimming pool was wonderful, surrounded by trees and screened off for security without spoiling the setting.. what else? The meal in the... More

We stopped off at this hotel at the end of our vacation prior to heading for the ferry trip home. After driving for four hours we were looking forward to a relaxing time by the pool before enjoying the Restaurant Cote Parc which is the hotel's restaurant. While we were disappointed to find that the pool only had three pairs... More

An overnight stop in a town we know quite well, and our first visit to this attractive hotel in a pleasant and peaceful location. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Dinner was excellent especially as we were the only guests dining that night and breakfast the following morning provided a wide range from which to choose. The... More

Beautiful architecture and setting, with rooms that are extremely comfortable with spacious and newly updated en suites. The staff are helpful and the manager and his family are charming. We stayed two nights with a large group of people and ate at the hotel both nights. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the food was good considering the... More

I recently spent 4 nights here and found the staff ( particularly the manager ) very helpful and friendly. Even charged my iPhone! as the plug was hard to fit into the socket. Lovely rooms, Good breakfast, Good location. I would recommend this Hotel. Nearly as good as Chewtom Glen!
