We stayed here for three nights in one of their Superior to rooms, with a balcony. It was a beautiful room and very elegant. Could not fault the staff at all, all were friendly and nearly every one of them spoke English. We were made welcome at all times. The Whinstub restaurant was excellent and not bad value for money.... More

A great historical place located among vineyards and a typical small town of Alsace great place to relax, walk and many great restaurants near the hotel to enjoy the Alsace food, definitely will be better if you go with your own car do you can drive also and visit Strassburg that is only 15 minutes away by car and if... A hugely over priced hotel. The decor is poor in places, the wi-fi is snail paced, the spa is disappointing. Thehotel might nestle against a small river with clever photographs of a pleasant exterior but in reality it is within a housing estate. Dreadful value for money. Look elsewhere.

We were influenced to stay here for our weekend in Strasbourg via our membership of the Small Luxury Hotels network. It is just a few kilometres out of the Strasbourg city centre in a beautiful and quiet location. The hotel itself is attractive to look at, but inside it needs freshening up. We had a traditional room with tired carpet... More

We stayed at this hotel when visiting Strasbourg Christmas markets in December. The hotel itself is quite beautiful, and it is conveniently located a short (10 minute) walk from the tram which takes you directly into the city. If we had been in a car, the hotel has plenty of parking. The staff was very polite and helpful, and made... More

For full disclosure we did not stay at the hotel but attended an event, which was very nice. The hotel is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. I was thoroughly confused on our way there, not sure where we were heading. The grounds are just beautiful and the interior seemed cozy. The event was well managed and the space was... More

I am always looking for the special places to stay in. I don't enjoy staying in normal hotels as they are all the same. We came here after a day in Starsbourg. Already the drive through the village was different. When we saw the place we had a big smile. The place is lit for Christmas and has a great... More

This lovely hotel is well appointed. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a wide variety of items available. The rooms are comfortable but unique. The site is near the tramline and also not far from the center of Strasbourg. The hotel is well worth visiting.

We arrived by taxi from the airport to find a lovey classic hotel set in its own grounds with a river, superbly quiet this hotel was obviously the former manor house to the small hamlet that surrounds it, check in was smooth, our room was lovely & warm, the décor was a bit on the quaint side, lovely view over... Arrived after a long drive from southern Germany to find a delightful hotel in a private park overlooking the river Ille. Ostwald is a suburb of Strasbourg.a nice bar with terrace, a very good restaurant and excellent, friendly staff throughout.
