Easy to find. Good parking. Wifi strong connection. Good clean toilets. Has heater in room and toilet. Very warm. Duvet clean and comfy. Flat screen TV which we don't use. Stayed on second floor of the annexe. Will come again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Excellent room and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite us not seeing the Orca's or Northern Lights they would have done their utmost to make it happen. Like the connection between the hotel and Laki Tours, seemed quite personal. Enjoyed the 24hr free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We had nor 'fishy'... More

We spent three nights here in order to go whale watching (no whales were seen unfortunately) none the less this hotel was fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and were able to recommend things to do in the town when our last tour was cancelled. Breakfast was simplistic but completely sufficient and the room was fantastic! We had... More

We had two nights in this lovely hotel before we finished our trip around Iceland. We had one of the family rooms on the top floor. Clean, well appointed and quiet we had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is in a great location right on the waterfront. Breakfast was very nice, with a good selection. The staff were very... More

We had our best meal in Iceland at this hotel - an absolutely delicious fresh fish of the day (cod) followed by a hot chocolate pudding. The style is gourmet / fine dining but with good sized portions and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend eating here if you are in the area! The hotel itself is in a nice setting and... More

The owners/management are fantastic! My husband fell sick and not only did they provide with medicines and advice, but let us check out at our own time instead of the 12 PM rule. The rooms had everything you would need for a cozy couple days worth of stay. They also have a book exchange chest filled with some good names.

The hotel itself is kind of old and the rooms are not very comfortable, but when you're in the middle of Iceland, who cares. The town is really cute and there was a lot to do and explore. The restaurant in the hotel is fantastic. We ate there every night and loved it. They came in to let us know... More

Nice stay on the Snaefelsness peninsula. Good food. Very helpfull staff. They even wake you in the middle of the night to see the northern lights (if you want of course!) Also nice place for orca sights or just driving around. I liked it, although the wind blow me out of my pants and the roads were like a skating... More

We stayed here while exploring the region for two nights. The rooms are pleasant, and the staff is very helpful. I really needed some clothes washed after 2 weeks on the road (and only planning for 10 days clothes...). They offered to wash some for me, and had them back 2 hours later -- at 10PM. Breakfast is very basic,... More

The location of this hotel along the waters edge has beautiful picturesque views. The hotel itself had friendly staff and cosy rooms that were clean, although, rather dated. The restaurant at the hotel offers delicious seafood, done to perfection. The breakfast was adequate, so no real complaints. There is a fish smell due to the fishery next door, but hey…you... More
