At one time this used to be a Best Western but it is no longer. It is in fact two separate businesses, one running the hotel and another the bar and restaurant. We were with a coach party so perhaps were treated differently to other guests. we got(as a party) a wide variety of rooms, none of which faced the... More

The hotel is now called the Mona Lisa and is no longer a Best Western Hotel. We stayed in one of the sea facing rooms with a terrace. When the weather is good we could enjoy the terrace overlooking the beach with loungers and sun umbrella. The room is quite small but is kept clean and supplied with fresh linen... More

Having a wonderful week last year we just had to revisit but let down by the seaweed; last year the beach was sand and sand and just great. This year the sand was still there but also seaweed, lots of it that the city did not clear away every day (we were informed that pig farmers further up the bay... More

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, having parked in the crammed car-park across the road from the hotel, which appeared to be mainly used by people using the beach, judging from all the surfboards on car roofs. We went into reception to check in, one receptionist was on the phone, so we waited 10 minutes for her to finish her... More

My first feelings about this hotel had been that it was somewhat basic and potentially disappointing - the reception is functional and the corridors simply decorated. However, the receptionist made a good first impression by immediately spotting the fact that my husband is unusually tall (over 2 metres) and spontaneously re-arranging the room allocations to ensure we had a room... We had stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and had pleasant memories of our stay. Good points were location next to a lovely sandy beach with good views towards Concarnau from rooms facing the sea, free car parking and good free WiFi. The fittings in the shower room were good. BUT the room on the 3rd floor was very... More

We stayed there 6/7 years back when the hotel was called the mona lisa, so we were expecting the same level of expertise and hospitality. ?....boy were we in for a shock. After spending 2 glorious weeks in charente maritime , our family booked us into this hotel to breakour on ward journey to roscoff. They booked us a garden view......beware....there... More

We were a group of c.31 from England. Arrived hotel 8.9.14. Room although a little cramped was at the back with lovely sea-view, overlooking beach. Bathroom and bedroom had low angled ceiling due to high floor position. Quite well appointed though. Shower, open tray with curtain which (almost) reached the bottom of tray, resulting in some flooding under curtain...... Included... More

We received for a night one room on 3rd floor, under the roof. The space in the room is very low, also the height of the roof in some points make the room dangerous, also the space between the bed and some furniture is less than 20 cm! What can happens in case of an emergency evacuation? The room has... More

This hotel has a fantastic location, directly on the beach, beautiful scenery. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar staff do not seem to like their jobs or understand the idea of service (with one exception). This service really effects the quality of your holiday, I had the impression that French were the preferred clients, a bit of a shame really. Room... More
