My first feelings about this hotel had been that it was somewhat basic and potentially disappointing - the reception is functional and the corridors simply decorated. However, the receptionist made a good first impression by immediately spotting the fact that my husband is unusually tall (over 2 metres) and spontaneously re-arranging the room allocations to ensure we had a room... We had stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and had pleasant memories of our stay. Good points were location next to a lovely sandy beach with good views towards Concarnau from rooms facing the sea, free car parking and good free WiFi. The fittings in the shower room were good. BUT the room on the 3rd floor was very... More

We stayed there 6/7 years back when the hotel was called the mona lisa, so we were expecting the same level of expertise and hospitality. ?....boy were we in for a shock. After spending 2 glorious weeks in charente maritime , our family booked us into this hotel to breakour on ward journey to roscoff. They booked us a garden view......beware....there... More

We were a group of c.31 from England. Arrived hotel 8.9.14. Room although a little cramped was at the back with lovely sea-view, overlooking beach. Bathroom and bedroom had low angled ceiling due to high floor position. Quite well appointed though. Shower, open tray with curtain which (almost) reached the bottom of tray, resulting in some flooding under curtain...... Included... More

We received for a night one room on 3rd floor, under the roof. The space in the room is very low, also the height of the roof in some points make the room dangerous, also the space between the bed and some furniture is less than 20 cm! What can happens in case of an emergency evacuation? The room has... More

This hotel has a fantastic location, directly on the beach, beautiful scenery. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar staff do not seem to like their jobs or understand the idea of service (with one exception). This service really effects the quality of your holiday, I had the impression that French were the preferred clients, a bit of a shame really. Room... More

We came upon this hotel by chance - we had booked a self catering cottage further up the coast which was substandard, and we were driving around just so as not to be in the cottage. We took a random turn off and happened upon stunning Cap Coz. We parked the car, and as we sat on the slipway, taking... More

Booked via Bookings.com. at 9.30 am. Arrived at 4pm and told the room wasn't ready!! No reason was given. Sat on the terrace right on the beach which was really lovely and eventually got to our room, 103, which overlooked the car park and as there was only a net curtain this was annoying when we were trying to get... Found this hotel to be comfortable. Had sea view which was lovely. The room was quite big and the bed comfortable. The only thing we found a little disappointing was the restaurant which is franchised. We found the menu was limited, the food was OK but not as good as the restaurant up the road.

Could not be closer to the beach. Room with a terrace well worth the extra 20 Euro per day, waking up to the sound of waves on the beach. All staff helpful and went out of their way at times to assist. Close to other restaurants. Continental breakfast very nice with a good choice. Parking just over the road was... More
