I'm actually being a bit generous awarding this hotel 3-stars, but I took into consideration that it is not in a major city and Armenia is still developing its tourist industry. The hotel is, indeed, charming - especially the garden area. But I also have a couple of complaints. The first one I am really hoping I'm wrong about, however... More

This is a charming hotel nestled in the beautiful southern Armenian landscape. The room was comfortable, and we most appreciated the beautiful garden patio where we lingered over breakfast and later in the evening, glasses of wine. For Americans like us who speak about 10 words of Armenian, one of the hotel's great assets is a young employee by the... More

Just got back from 3 nights at the Mirhav. The room is good and basic, cable TV nothing special (mostly Iranian and Armenian channels), good wifi, decent restaurant. The staff is really nice but don't seem terribly well-organized -- it takes a good 45 minutes to get served in the restaurant and the food is really expensive compared to the... More

Remember that you are in Armenia! Tourism is not very developed here, and they are still in a learning process. We would give it a 4.5 on an Armenian scale. The hotel itself is very nice, pleasant atmosphere, a lovely little garden, nicely decorated. There is good, free wifi, with password stickers very visible so it's easy to connect. The... More

Disappointed. Room basic Small desk with no power points near it. Toilet ran all night.. My room on 2nd floor was disturbed by noise - laughter, singing from ground floor - that funnelled up the stair well and through the clsed bedroom door. Dinner was very bland, breakfast was skimpy and disappointing. Do not know how Tripadvisor could give this... More

Very tasty food and wine in the restaurant of this hotel. We had dinner and on the way back from Karabakh we stopped again for lunch. By the way, at reception you can purchase wonderful post cards drawn by Belgian architect.

On the way back from karabakh, we stopped for breakfast. Pretty good food. Ambience is typical of the area. Have your coffee next to the river to find a moment of peace. Can't judge of the hotel facilities however because we didn't sleep there.

I expected it to be a 3 star hotel. When we checked in they gave us rooms in the new building. The rooms were comfortable and had heaters. The food in the restaurant was the only downside. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.
