I just got back from a work team building getaway and it was absolutely amazing! The resort is first class old school. We stayed in the canvas cabins which were very unique and comfortable, The restaurant food was great, the river lunch was great and the river rafting was a great team building experience. I would absolutely recommend this place... More

The staff here are top notch. We had Cindy as our raft guide and she was very knowledgeable about the river and history. She also had a few good one liners to add some comedic value as well. We will definately be back to raft again. Great experience.

Did the paddle day trip down the Thompson with my gf and really enjoyed ourselves. Mary was an excellent guide and our group got along famously. Lunch was hot and ready to go for us halfway down after a semi-tranquille morning leaving from Spence's Bridge. Second half of the day was more intense with Frog Rock Rapids being a highlight.... Recently did the two day Naturalist Power Rafting Trip on the Thompson and had so much fun. I only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful resort on the shores of spectacular White Canyon. I had no idea there would be live outdoor entertainment; volleyball in the pool, hiking trails on site and so much more. The... More

There was no better place to be in 41 degree temperatures this past weekend than in the Thompson River aboard one of the self bailing river rafts from Kumsheen Resort in the company of great friends and with an amazing guide. We participated in the Naturalist trip and the combination of history, native plants and birds of the area was... More

We just returned from a glorious sunny weekend with Bernie and his crew at Kumsheen. We did the 2 day Naturalist trip from Ashcroft to Lytton with Rick along as our Naturalist guide and Bernie guiding the raft. The whole trip was everything we had asked for and a lot more. We camped at Kumsheen and had the meal package.... More

I have paddle-rafted with Kumsheen several times on the Thompson. I always go with the full day trip. The morning is calm, with a few smaller rapids. The guides do well to keep the group entertained with their personalities. The river is very warm and if they give you the chance to swim through some rapids, do so! The afternoon... More

Kumsheen doesn't really advertise this, but you can actually camp here without rafting. As a result of this knowledge, our friends and our family were the only two tent-camping sites booked for the Canada Day Long Weekend. There were a few others in teepees and cabins, but overall the resort was very quiet, which is unusual for the July long... More

Prebooked a nights stay in canvas cabin. Impressed with rustic feel but as close to main road baby might not have slept. Was refunded which was nice of owner. Will come again without baby and book rafting trip as well.
