The first thing to remember is that this building is from the 17century. Take the cracks and the peeling paint for what it is. The owners who have only been there for 3 years are doing a grand job. They greeted us like old friends. Nothing is too much for them. Breakfast was good and more than enough. Come and... More

This was our second stay in room 5, this time was for our daughters birthday as she wanted to wake up to a sea view. Phoebe and Stuart couldn't have done anymore to make this weekend special for our daughter. My parents were coming down for her birthday and staying that night as a surprise and Phoebe and Stuart let... More

Found this place at the tourist board, thought we would stay there as it looked unusual. It used to be an old peoples home & before that it was a lighthouse. It took 3 people to get us a room, one let us in, one told us the price & one to take our card to make the payment. The... More

We arrived just after checking in time to find the car park full but I double parked as I am a blue badge holder. The owner opened the door to usher us in to a lounge as there is not a reception area to join other guests waiting to check in.We were shown up 2 flights of stairs to our room... More

Place in need of some renovation. Owners extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast very tasty. Excellent position on the promenade. Clean bedding and comfortable beds. Dated bathroom and I had to clean the toilet because it hadn't been done properly. The positives outweigh the negatives! I would stay again.
