We arrived early but were welcomed in by the owners daughter who bought us a tray of tea and biscuits on the lawn. Shown to our spacious and well equipped room the Manoir ouses character with a homely feel. Breakfast was simple with croissants, breads, homemade jams and fruit. All in all superb location, beautiful building and family run would... More

Helene is a wonderful host and truly cares about her guests. She welcomed us back with hugs on our second stay with her. Her home is a huge manor house that is beautifully decorated. Our room was so beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast is served in her beautiful dining room that has many personal touches. We stayed 3 nights and... More

Set in beautiful gardens and close to Giverny the Manoir de Notre-Dame made an ideal base to explore the area. A grand house with elegant rooms for end of day drinks (the lounge) and the great breakfasts (the sitting room) we stayed in the Alix room with its newly painted and well appointed ensuite. Our hostess, Helene, was a delight,... More

The house itself is an old manor house where three of the rooms are used for B & B.Fantastic welcome from Helene and her daughter Alex. We had arrived early but nothing was too much trouble. Shown to a beautiful large double room, beautifully prepared with excellent decoration and typically French furniture.Tea and coffee making facilities were available in the... More

The Manoir de Notre Dame de la Mer was a wonderful experience in every respect. It is very conveniently situated for Monet's garden at Giverny, about 10 minutes drive away. It is an old manor house, three of the rooms are used for B&B. The hostess, Helene and her husband are excellent. They really make you feel part of the... More

The Manoir is absolutely charming, and only exceeded by the reception and hospitality from the Hostess Helene & her family. The location is excellent for visiting Giverny, and Monet's garden. The breakfast room is beautifully decorated, and the food is excellent. Unfortunately we only had one night and would have loved to stayed longer. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed... More

This is the nicest BB we have ever stayed. It is the most beautiful house in a beautiful area of France. Very close to Monets Garden, Rouen etc. The rooms are beautifully clean, decorated in the most beautiful colours in typical french style. The breakfasts are simply gorgeous, all freshly baked every morning, with loads of choice. Helene, the lady... More

This manoir owned by Helene and her husband is truly spectacular. My husband and I stayed at 5 different B&B's during our trip through France and this is the one that I want to return to. The rooms and home are so beautifully decorated. Helen makes you feel like a good friend who has come for a visit. We arrived... More

We booked a room here just a couple of days before arriving, and we were really pleased with our decision! This is a gorgeous French manor, located in the quietest of areas on a hill, just about 15 minutes from Giverny. When we arrived we were greeted at the car by our wonderful hostess Helene, who runs the manor with... More

Stunning manoir for sure. We got our booking mixed up and arrived a day early. The Manoir was fully booked, unfortunately. But the lady owner made calls for us and even took us to the near by hotel. For the breakfast, they bought the pastries on the same morning. Fresh, nice and still warm. We stayed in the Constance Room,... More
