This hidden gem of a B&B is quite outstanding. The rooms are immaculate, well-appointed and have a feel of real quality about them. The host is very welcoming, and has lots of information if you need it. He also provides a simple, but excellent breakfast (the croissants were the best I had in 15 days in France this year!). The... This was the most wonderful oasis for us after several hectic weeks. Picturesque setting in a gorgeous old building. Stephan was a most accommodating host and organised a table in the garden for our picnic, as well as preparing us lovely hot coffee. His love of gardening is evidenced by the two different styles of garden to enjoy. Gorgeous decor... More

We stayed in 30 different places on our 90 day journey through Europe this year (2014). Les Jardins du Val was one of our favorites. The grounds are beautiful and it feels special to stay here. The rooms are clean and the breakfast were good.

I cannot say enough nice things about Stephan and his B&B. Decided to stay here because of the close proximity to Giverny Stephan provided great tips for our next day excursion to Monet's gardens as well as other area attractions. This is a man who truly loves his job. His pride in gardening is evident in the two gardens he... More

This fine little jewel of a B and B is tucked way on an unassuming side road just a few kilometers from Giverny. The grounds are eye candy for the weary road warrior, and one should take the advice of the owner and come to stay the night before a visit to Monet's garden in order to see the gardens... More

Looking for a place to stay when visiting Giverny and its Monet theme, we found this B&B in trip advisor. Location is fine, at about 4 km away from Giverny, easy to reach. Clean, extremely quiet, very nice garden, very good breakfast (continental, do not expect eggs, etc., you're in France!). Room was relatively small but very clean and with... More

I am not one to easily gush over something unless it is REALLY deserving and this place IS!! We stayed just one night and it was our best night in France! The Inn is bright, clean, and wonderfully furnished. Stephane, the innkeeper, has done a wonderful job with his property. His attention to detail is outstanding. He warm and friendly... More

We spent a week in France from Paris to Normandy and this by far was the best place that we stayed. The place was idyllic. The buildings are a couple hundred years old and maintained perfectly on the outside. The inside has been renovated and is modern. The room we stayed in was perfect for our family of four with... I stayed here with my mother and three children for 2 nights whilst on a short break visiting Monet's water gardens and the Palace of Versailles. This was the perfect place to stay, and even more perfect if the purpose of your trip is to see beautiful gardens, as the grounds to the property are an excellent example. We stayed... More
