Les Jardins du Val is an enchanting B&B in the Giverny area. Msr Stephane will gladly orient you if you plan on visiting Monet's Gardens. The house, rooms, bathroom, breakfast room and gardens are extremely well kept and very pretty. This was an easy stay. Sadly we only booked one night. Would love to have a longer visit to really... Stayed here our first night in France. It was an absolute delight. Stephane the host was extremely tentative and everything was well in order. The property is beautifully presented and the breakfast perfectly, perfectly French. Only drawback - Difficult to find. GPS took us to wrong road. Look out for the signs on the roadside. Showers were odd and we... More

Very informative owner and super service. Rooms are small but clean and functional. You need to call as the GPS does not locate it. Stephan the owner is an old timer for the area and information about Normandy and gardens is in plenty. If in the area a good place to stay

When you're ready to take a real retreat from your vacation, then look no further than Les Jardins du Val. It hits that perfect balance between price/value and location (very close to Monet's Garden without the business of it) but the beauty of the place will blow your mind and the host, Stephan, will exceed your expectations. Le Jardins du... More

Outstanding first night in France. Picked up our rental car at CDG and drove directly to Les Jardins Du Val. GPS found it with no problem. On site parking a plus. Room immaculate and roomy with comfortable bed. English-speaking owner extremely helpful - got us reservations at a local restaurant just 15 min walk away. Restaurant owner stayed open an... More

Les Jardins du Val is a charming B&B in an historic building set in beautiful gardens. It is down a one-lane country road about 15 minutes from Giverny. Our room was a bit small but comfortably furnished. The owner, Stephane, is a one-man French tourism agency offering us tips on what to see and do for our two weeks in... More

We absolutely loved Les Jardins du Val. I could live there. It's in a wonderful location, quiet, peaceful. It feels like a home from home. The interior design is perfect, the garden idyllic and Stephan, the host, is charming and helpful. All he wants for his guests is that they enjoy his house and the gardens at Giverny which are... We visited for a night before visiting the Monet garden. Stephane the owner was friendly, and spent time when we arrived explaining timings and tips to avoid the crowds at the gardens. We were made to feel like guests in his home ( and the house and gardens are beautiful). He also recommended a route back to Dieppe avoiding the... More

We had a wonderful, restful stay in this bed and breakfast in a village setting very close to Giverny and about an hour from Paris. It is so hidden that our GPS missed it taking us on the back road. Stephan, the host, is amazingly informative, enthusiastic, hospitable, and helpful in planning our visit to Monet's garden and home and... More

This hidden gem of a B&B is quite outstanding. The rooms are immaculate, well-appointed and have a feel of real quality about them. The host is very welcoming, and has lots of information if you need it. He also provides a simple, but excellent breakfast (the croissants were the best I had in 15 days in France this year!). The...
