If you are looking for a warm, cosy hotel decorated in typical tyrolean style but where the service is second to none, food is fabulous and staff anticipate your needs, work tirelessly yet discreetly and always with good humour then this is the hotel for you. We arrived in lermoos by train from Munich and were met by the hotel... More

Lermoos is a small village in the Austrian Alpes. The Sporthotel Zugspitze is a very nice hotel, with friendly staff, good food and an awesome mountain view. The room I stayed was amazing, very quit and peaceful, and the price was very convenient as well. Loved it!

We have been visiting the Sporthotel every year since 2006, going during the February half term. My mother is a particular fan as she doesn't have to do any cooking or cleaning. We stay full board, not in the main hotel but in the apartments to the right of it. With there being 5 of us we get a two... More

My friends and I spent a wonderful 3 nights in this hotel. Checking us into our 7 rooms appeared a little chaotic in the beginning; but the staff exuded an aura of friendliness and helpfulness, served us a drink on the house, and sorted us into our rooms in no time. All our rooms were very charming and comfortable, and... More

The hotel itself is excellent with views to mountains at the rear. Although on a main road it is quiet at night. Rooms are very good, well furnished and very comfortable beds. The standard of the rooms and the interior areas of the hotel is excellent. We had a very good nights sleep here. I rate this hotel as poor... More

We stumbled across this lovely small hotel when we had a weekend to kill between flights into Munich airport. Only an hour and half down the autobahn and we were in the mountains of Austria. Our room had a small balcony directly overlooking the pinnacle of the Zugspitze and the valley of Lermoos. The owner told us apologetically that dinner... More

we went to Zugspitte because of a recommendation by friends but it did not do justice to this small hotel. From the moment we walked in we were treated like family. Elizabeth the host could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The view of the moutain was spectacular and a pleasure to sit and look over while drinking... More
