Only stayed one night but loved this hotel, had a beautiful suite, with a lovely balcony and fabulous views of hills and sea beyond pine trees. Meal in restaurant at night was fair, not fantastic, but breakfast served in the room at no additional charge was just perfect. Would love to stay again. more

The idea of booking half-board, and then having to reserve the restaurant is, to me, an alien concept.. We spent a few days at Melia Altea Hills in July and had chosen it largely on the basis of the generally good reviews on this site. The hotel building, environment, pools, and our Junior Suite were superb, but there were things which did not, in our opinion reflect its 5 star rating and took the edge off our experience... more

Perfect retreat - lovely views, splendid restaurant, friendly staff, QUIET!!!, lovely beauty treatments available, fab rooms (Junior Suite) This hotel has to be the best we have ever stayed in !!! Will be back very soon. more
