1 spent a night there. The hotel is quite n clean. Huge pool! One of the nicest I've seen in Malaysia. The room was very spacious with a free balcon.WIFI. The situation of the hotel is very good. The staff are lovely. In short, a hotel with a value of good quality report.

Been coming to this hotel for many years. We stay here because this is the only hotel in Cherating village. Many other inns and hostels here, but all have chalets, down by the beach, some more 'rustic' then others. Here they have a nice swimming pool, decent Wi-Fi, and a nice clean bed. Good cold air con.. Although the other... More

The building look quite old . You will be amazed with the service from the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The ambience of the hotel is good as well. The room has all the basic facilities like water heather, mini bar, iron etc. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. If you choose room opposite pool, it could be... More

We stayed at Residence Inn Cherating during the week after Chinese New Year. It was almost empty but all services were still online. Understandably service was fantastic! The hotel is a short walt to Cherating bay, the site of Malaysias's best surf spot (in the right season). The rooms are a good size and the pool is huge (especially when... More

Old but lovely. Pleasantly surprised. Good buffet breakfast. Menu otherwise a bit limited. Large pool made for a quiet relaxing stay . Staff had good English and were helpful and friendly. Not for those wanting excitement but I thoroughly enjoyed my break there

Firstly I would like to say that I stay here for work only. The overall appearance of the hotel is not too bad, the rooms are large, but are a little run down. There's paint flaking off and mould in several conspicuous areas. The bedding could do with some bleach to give it the clean look. The pool and the... More

Although some of the furnishings are a little dated this hotel has good sized rooms and a nice pool area that is usually very quite, the staff are most helpful and go out of there way to give you a pleasant stay. Less than a five minute walk to the beach and restaurants its in a great position.although not a... More

This is my 3rd stay here, only because I've no choice. They get one star as the breakfast service has improved, but nothing else has. Completely run down. Rooms are moldy, paint peeling off, bathrooms not clean and in a sad state of repair, beds very uncomfortable. The mold growing around the AC unit was a touch worrying. I could... More

Really nice pool, great breakfast, great colonial style lobby. Fridge and tea/coffee in the rooms, A/C, cable TV. Terrace over looking pool. But: slow service at restaurant at dinner. A bit of mildew on the walls. Could do with a bit of paint. The kids loved the pool and the free HBO movies. Nice friendly, accommodating staff. A bit stingey... More

Stayed in Family room Ground floor overlooking the pool for two nights. The room has two cosy beds. Enough for our family. The TV channel was ok & the kids seems entertained. The carpet was quite hard & from the looks of it should be replace. The room looks so dull & deco needs upgrade. One power source seems to... More
