Once again I stayed at The Captains Hotel in Amerikis Street, Kos Town. The Family and Staff are very friendly, the outdoor pool is very clean. I have said everything that I like about this Hotel before so I will not repeat it. Remember that it IS only a small 2 or 3 star rated hotel.

While this hotel is dated in it's decor, it is clean, comfortable and very well situated. The rooms themselves are of average size and equipped with basic amenities including air-conditioning that does work. The breakfast was your typical Greek breakfast - yoghurt, hams, cheeses and the like. If you're with a family or someone with a disability/mobility impairment, there is... More

Good location, very friendly staff, satisfactory breakfast for the price, excellent value for money. It's clean - only exception was some dirty towels that didn't get changed one day, but the reception staff was more than willing to give us fresh ones. 3-person rooms are a bit narrow, we had trouble fitting all our luggage in the room, but it... This is a good value for money hotel. The rooms are basic (yes, they are a bit dated) but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are well cleaned as are the public areas. Breakfast is limited and does not vary from day to day but is of a good standard and the bread is always fresh. The pool is... More

I stopped at The Captains Hotel again this year, it is a very good 2* hotel. It is a family run hotel and they care about you. It is very clean, friendly and well located for visiting both the harbour and the beach. They serve a Continental Breakfast which is good, they do not have a restaurant as such, but... More

We stayed here for 1 night before catching a ferry onto Turkey. The owner was very friendly and welcoming but the hotel is the very very dated. Our room smelt very musty and the bathroom fittings were green with blue tiles, we had a shower but no shower curtain so the bathroom was flooded with every shower. It was clean... More

I stayed at The Captains Hotel once again for three weeks. As I have said in the past it is only a small family run 2* hotel, it is a little dated but the staff and clenliness make up for that. You can rent the Air Con, Fridge, and a Safe. It has a small very clean pool. There is... More
