This is the most beautiful guesthouse. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
It has been lovingly restored and kept...there is a real sense of history to the place. The proprietors are friendly and showed us round before we decided to book in (the decision was made as soon as we stepped through the door). The bed was the most comfortable that we slept on in our whole tour of Portugal.
The breakfast was wonderful and the table setting was so beautiful I took a photo of it.
It's also remarkably good value for money.
There are some great drives/walks/landscape on the doorstop.
