4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend in January, 2 adults and 3 kids so two adjoining rooms. Comfortable beds, good breakfasts, great pool and hot tub, pleasant staff, conveniently placed on the M1. Enjoyed seeing the overly tattooed bride at her wedding on Saturday night and her hungover family and friends at a late breakfast on Sunday morning,... More

This is our eighth stay at this hotel and have just booked our next visit, room was immaculate the only down side we had was we paid for a box of chocolates @£10 only six little truffles in it, we normally have the snacks tray which has disappeared from the on line booking and at £5. is better value. Food... More

Stayed 1 night for a dinner/disco with friends. Check in slow but very friendly staff. Clean room if a little dated but we had a huge comfortable bed. Buffet style dinner was nothing exciting but no complaints. DJ excellent who played music to suit us and had everyone up dancing all night. Buffet breakfast was very good. Well cooked and... More

Stayed here with work recently. The room was supposed to be a superior one. Wouldn't have liked to have seen a standard one :(. The remote control for the TV was missing. There was a hole in the wall and the bathroom door was rotten at the bottom and peeling. Room was in need of refurbishment / decorating but was... More

Stayed for 1 night only, bad service, poor wifi, worst bed ever, lack of hot water, bad smell in the room, bed and pillows, very old hotel with only the lounge and restaurant area refurbished, looks like 2 different places! don't be fooled by room pictures online!

This was just a once nighter stay as a friend and I wanted to meet up somewhere between the North East and Nottingham and was ideally located. We wanted a room with dinner and a spa, although we couldn't package this together we booked it separately and it suited. The Spa treatment was lovely, as was the pool and facilities.... More

We stayed for one night as a stop off on out way up to Durham. We stayed with our two dogs who were made to feel welcome and there was a grassy area for them to use. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast, fresh food and plentiful. Service was good however the bar could be better stocked and the... More

My daughters ages 21 and 14 and I have just returned from a nice overnight stay at this hotel. Our room was very clean and pleasant with a nice bathroom though the hair dryer wasn't in use but it didn't pose a problem. We used the leisure facility, pool, steam room and jacuzzi which was lovely with very nice staff.... More
