We visited in July which was hot as would be expected at this time of year so the short walk to the swimming cove was welcomed. It is a short drive to The Cinque Terre but a preferable spot to stay due to considerably less tourists. The hotel staff are lovely, very hospitable and keep everything clean and well maintained.... I`m not quite sure exactly how many times we`ve stayed here now but the fact that we can`t resist going back must say a lot. This is rated as a two star hotel so if you expect a Hilton type stay then stay away. Family owned and family run the atmosphere is personal and friendly. The rooms are simple yet... More

I want to live in Tellaro. I want to pack up my bags and just go. And I'm positive the Pensione Ristorante Miramare has a lot to do with this! It was a welcome retreat on our whistle-stop tour of this coastline, but we fell in love with the spirit of this homely, restful place. The always smiling owner Emilio... More

Tellaro is a beautiful village in one of the most beautiful place in Italy, between Lerici-Portovenere-5 Terre and Punta Bianca-Montemarcello-Versilia. Miramare is a perfect location with an amazing sea view, good restaurant and basic rooms booked online (20 yrs old style) but very clean and great value during the high season, given the expensive prices in that area, this is... An excellent stay in a beautiful village. Very pleasant service, a stunning view, a very good meal at a fair price and a clean although not luxurious room. Breakfast could have been better but overall a good experience.

We took the opportunity of a free week in the diary, booked the flight to Pisa, hire car and accommodation at Miramare, and gambled on tthe weather. Tellaro never changes, and neither does the warm welcome and excellent food, especially the local fish dishes, at Pensione Miramare (we originally went there for honeymoon in 1968). You might even need, as... More

We arrived in Tellaro late in the evening after an eventful train and bus journey from Rome. Tellaro must be the a-typical perfect Italian seaside village. Miramare is located in a beautiful situation, and outstanding views across the bay towards Porto Venere. We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful place and fell in love with this little Italian village and... More

We have now stayed at Miramare for two short breaks and have every intention of returning. The bedrooms are simple yet sparklingly clean and those on the front of the building enjoy stunning views. The resturant is very good and, once again, has fantastic views over the bay. The Cabano family are tremendously welcoming with father, Emilio, ensuring that all... More
